Congress: REJECT Government-Run Health Care
The push by President Obama and Congress to revamp our national health care system is intensifying. While health care legislation remains more confusing than ever, theres one thing thats crystal clear: Its time to say NO to any government-run health care plan and NO to mandatory coverage for abortions. Please read the form below carefully and declare your membership with the ACLJ by adding your name to our Petition Opposing Government-Run Health Care.
PETITION OPPOSING GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE
To All Members of the United States Senate To All Members of the United States House of Representatives
I am deeply concerned by proposed government-run health care reform legislation and am voicing my opposition to it.
I cannot, and will not, support government-run health care; nor will I support health care reform that mandates or subsidizes abortion in any way. As my elected official, I urge you to use the full influence of your office to firmly reject all five government-run health care bills currently being discussed and to boldly stand for life alongside the majority of Americas citizens by saying NO to mandatory coverage for abortions.
President Obama promised full transparency in his Administration. But the so-called negotiations on health care are at a critical stage on Capitol Hill and transparency has been M.I.A. Its past time for Congress to end the secret, closed-door discussions and open up the process for all to see. Stand with the ACLJ now and urge Congress to act: End the secrecy, give lawmakers seven days to fully review whats inside the final bill and most importantly, GUARANTEE that there will be NO mandatory coverage for abortions in health care legislation.
Note to readers: The above comment was also from the ACLJ website. This organization is giving much important attention and work to analyze this very lengthy bill so that we Americans can know the real truth.
It would be nice if that petition went a little further. Yes, i’m against govt funding abortions, but i’m against these so-called health care reform bills on a much more broader level.
Right! This health care bill is faulty in so many tragic ways!
Why bother, they won’t listen.
And you are right to say “so called health care reform’ since it is not a reform but a disfigurement!
I agree with you. Abortion is important but it is not the only issue—this is just too narrow.
We must fight the good fight of the faith and never give up. Yes when we take action we do make positive changes in our world.
