Republican Senate candidate Curtis Coleman was on KARN today and had an interesting answer to a question about President Obama qualification to serve. Coleman told the caller that he believes Obama should produce his birth certificate to prove he is qualified to hold office. I followed up with Coleman to clarify exactly what he meant.
“Absolutely, the President must produce his birth certificate,” said Coleman. “I will find out what steps are available to require him to do so, and will take those steps aggressively and unrelentingly. I don’t know where the President was born, which is a matter of immense concern and Constitutional issue for all Americans. If he has nothing of consequence to hide, then there’s no acceptable reason not to have full disclosure.”
The birth certificate question is raised by the so called “birther” movement that has various claims but primarily holds that Obama was born in Kenya not Hawaii and that he is unable to produce a birth certificate to prove his constitutional qualification for office.
FactCheck.org has examined Obama’s birth certificate and has refuted this claim.
I’m curious to see if Coleman backs down ... this is about as strong a statement against Obama as I’ve seen. It’s certainly warranted. There are some major differences between the Fight the Smears scans and the FactLack photos.
Maybe some other Congresscritters will catch some courage from Coleman. Hope he wins.

Obama gave up Right to privacy: By allowing Factcheck to examine his birth certificate, it seems to me that Obama gave up his right to hide behind his right to privacy concerning his long form birth certificate.
It seems to me that once Obama allowed Factcheck to examine his birth certificate, Obama opened the legal gates for news people like Hannity, O'Reily, Time, Newsweek, and Foxnews to obtain a copy of Obama's birth certificate from Hawaii officials, a copy of the same birth certificate that FactCheck has examined.
He will back down once this gets wider circulation and, oh no, the MSM starts mocking him (the greatest fear of any Republican)! Remember Hayworth’s frantic back-pedalling? GOP = pussies.
If this guy will just keep talking aggressive points to the staged questions by MSM (planned attempt to marginalize candidates)- he will gain in the vote numbers & it will hellfireback on the MSMobots. Use their staged questions as a GREAT opportunity .
He needs to throw the birther tag back at them and say that anyone who is afraid for Obama to Order Hawaii to release his long form is the real “birther”.
I emailed thru his “contact page” on his website , I think a campaign director- Harris was her name —that he should make em sorry the MSM even mentioned the Birther issue and they would gain advantage by not backing down.
That is why he is bulldozing his socialism policies through now.
The State of Hawaii is obliged by its own laws (Hawaiian Uniform Information Practices Act --UIPA, their answer to FOIA) to release that documentation. Of course, the "Right Wing" broadcasters know that, and have ample means to take it to court in Hawaii.
Your real questions might better be expressed by, "Why has not one conservative talk show host hired a lawyer to sue for release of those documents, pursuant to the Hawaiian UIPA Statutes?" and "Has one (1) of them contributed to the Writ of Quo Warranto actions underway in Washington, DC?" The answers are "No," and "No." In fact, none of them (not 1) has even accurately reported on the legal aspects and actions of the issue.
I wouldn't punish myself over those unasked questions. After all, not one (1) elected Republican Representative has asked the state of Hawaii for documentation, either. Or brought up the issue of whether or not Obama holds "Natural Born Citizenship."
Several have personally replied to my query by telling me that, "Obama has posted his Birth Certificate." Or, "He was born in Hawaii, and is therefore eligible." The Republicans have chosen to ignore the "Natural Born Citizen" requirement of Article II. They simply reiterate Obama's claim that he is eligible as an Hawaiian "Native Born Citizen," as if the matter of a father who was a British Subject is of absolutely no Constitutional concern.
The "Birthers," much to Obama's delight, have concentrated on the "WHERE." Theoretically important, this has allowed Obama to obfuscate the "HOW," and the "BY WHOM."
Bottom line: This Obama is your de facto President until 2012. The trick is to make sure that he, or no one else like him, does it again. Not so easy, when Team Obama plays Chess, and the opposition is having a hard time with Checkers.
I honestly hope the Special Investigations against Obama right now look into this as well while they are also pursuing the voter fraud practices of job placement Obama participated in.
Of which is a felony.

2012 is a long way off. The Republicans have plenty of time to truck this up. They are good at it. Right now, in regard to 2010, they (meaning "we") have no Plan. No Leader. No Program. And apparently No Clue.
