Mike Lee is just finishing his speech. He’s the leading candidate against Sen, Bob Bennett, Bennett was intro’d by Mitt Romney.
Cherilyn Eagar is now up. She’s the candidate endorsed by Joe the Plumber and the Eagle Forum.
I really hope Lee wins.
I moved over the border to western Colorado. It was like passing through Checkpoint Charlie into the American Sector!
The first round of voting has just begun.

Bridgewater, Bennett and Lee go into the second round.

Update: Lee finished with 37% of the vote to Bridgewater’s 35% of the vote. Bennett finished with 27% of the vote.
On to the third round (and almost certainly a primary on 22 June)
FN reporting Bennett is OUT. Let’s hope the same thing happens to all RINOs and moderates. Conservative victory is around the corner.
