Will the potential of higher fuel prices affect your plans for Summer travel?

Yes, if I can't affford gas, I won't go anywhere.

Maybe, it's too soon to tell right now.

No, my vacation plans are more important than the price of gas.

Will the potential of higher fuel prices affect your plans for Summer travel?

Key word is "potential". For me, the answer is no. I will cancel based on fact if need be.

If they do rise then I do travel less. Why spend money when it isn’t needed?

Prices have dropped 20 cents a gallon at my local station.

WHAT higher prices?

The idea, I believe, is that gas prices will go up because of the Gulf situation. Hence the term “Potential” increase.

No, my vacation plans rarely rely on the price of fuel.

If they were going to, I believe we would have already seen it. Gas prices are headed down because of a stronger dollar vis a vis the Euro. They might level off and hold for some time but I do not expect a major increase, at least not really soon.

Forget ‘Summer’ travel. It’s FUTURE travel. If you think for one minute der Furher cares a wit if you have to pay 10$ a gallon, forget it! It’s exactly what he wants! How did this asshole EVER get elected! JC! But here’s is what you’ll be giving up. Beer, wine, liquor, tickets, dining out, clothes, trips, presents, etc. Because you will HAVE to give them up to afford gas to get to work! Because if you don’t work, you STARVE! And that is exactly how he would like to see you die!

I heard that very sentiment mentioned on MTP yesterday. They were saying all our ills will be cured if only gas had a 3 or 4 dollar tax on it. Roundtable mostly ok with it (couple of dissenters). I wish they would do it already personally. Time to get past all the talk of how it will work, and prove it.

My prediction is it will collapse civilization as we know it, but maybe, its the best course at this point. Need to hit the reset button......

You nailed much of it, but The Barking Obama expects redistribution of wealth, both here in the US, and US wealth to be redistributed to 3rd world cesspools—this is a goal many have yet to realize—he will give our wealth to other nations. Notice how he supports a corrupt mexican president over the American people. The Barking Obama is our enemy and some still don’t get it.
