You can compare them through the night and see if one is ahead of the other.

REP Raul R. Labrador 103 38.9%
REP Allan M Salzberg 6 2.3%
REP Vaughn Ward 115 43.4%
What’s a shame is Chadwick dropped out too late to get his name off the ballot. He threw his support behind Labrador and if Labrador had those votes, he’d be running away with it.
If Ward loses, that will be one more black eye on the GOP establishment. I love it.
I can’t understand how Minnich represents this district. Bush got 68% of the vote both times he ran and McCain got 62%. It has to be one of most conservative districts in the country-yet it has a Democrat rep. What is wrong with those people?
RINOs hated the strong Conservative freshman incumbent Bill Sali. They did all they could to undermine him for ‘08, and Sali lost reelection by a hair.
Sounds like the power struggle in KS 3. I swear RINO’s hate conservatives more than they hate Demoncrats.
Still low number of returns in, Ward keeping a lead:
US Representative, District 1
DEM Walt Minnick 106 100.0%
REP Harley D. Brown 57 5.1%
REP Michael L. Chadwick 87 7.7%
REP Raul R. Labrador 397 35.4%
REP Allan M Salzberg 35 3.1%
REP Vaughn Ward 547 48.7%
Similar. RINOs tend to be liberals who are essentially Democrat agents, there to maximize damage to the GOP. We have no similar agents within the Democrat party to undermine them (and frankly we ought to be, if they didn’t do such a good job of screwing themselves up).
Labrador in the lead...

REP Raul R. Labrador 4,404 44.7%

REP Vaughn Ward 4,164 42.3%
If these two stories are any sign, Ward may not be having a good night...

I don’t know what to think about Ward and Labrador. Ward’s war record is admirable, but the establishment support is discouraging. Labrador has some Tea Party support, but his status as an immigration lawyer is concerning. Idaho Freepers seem divided, as well.
Ward now in the lead...
REP Harley D. Brown 491 4.0%
REP Michael L. Chadwick 793 6.4%
REP Raul R. Labrador 5,130 41.6%
REP Allan M Salzberg 418 3.4%
REP Vaughn Ward 5,512 44.7%
Ward stumbled at the last moment after leading for months. He forgot to file his financial disclosure forms, which spurred criticism.

It would be nice if Idaho counted its votes quickly, like they do in Kentucky.
The % of the vote counted differs... some with lower numbers say 1/3rd has been counted, the highest one says it’s 26%.
It’s not just that Ward would have no momentum, he’ll have to spend the next 5 and 1/2 months answering questions about his plagiarism of other political campaigns (including when his candidacy announcement was an almost-verbatim copy of Obama’s 2004 Democrat National Convention speech.
Labrador better win tonight, or Minnick will be in the catbird seat.

Isn’t the one that says 1/3 have been counted talking about precincts statewide (as opposed to just in the ID-01)?
My apologies for the late ping, I’ve been very sick for the past several days. Anyway, here you go.
Are there any sites showing the county-by-county breakdown?
Please check Posting #47.
Nope, in this district. They are running 1,000+ votes behind and claim that about 40% is in, but list 31% on the site with the higher numbers.
