I expect she would. As president she wouldn’t be BANKRUPTED by frivolous ethics complaints. If you had bothered to do ANY research, you would realize that Alaska law prohibts the governor from using any state money of any kind to defense against these complaints.

2. I also want a satisfactory answer to the question of precisely what role Todd Palin played in the AK governorship.

So, what is the accusation? You asked a question with the answer already made up in your mind. DO a little research.

3. She has serious ethics problems. Yes, yes, yes, I know the Palinista mantra: “The complaints are frivolous.”
No, they are not. The ethics issue was the centerpiece of Mrs Palin’s campaign. Did she not read the law that she championed and eventually signed? Yeah, that’s what we need—more pols in Washington who don’t read (and understand) the legislation before them. (BTW—I think the AK ethics law was rather vaguely written, which is why there were so many complaints—in order to define the legislation. I could be wrong)

You are WRONG! Palin something like 16-0 on these complaints. And the people hearing the complaints are NOT her friends. No one managed to find anything to “pin” on her.

4. Based on her conduct in the most egregious of the ethics complaints (”Troopergate”) I think she would misuse the office of POTUS in a similar fashion.

You need to educate yourself a lot better. She did nothing wrong.

5. Face it, Mrs Palin has more personal baggage than an airport carousel at peak flight time. This has been and will continue to be used against her.

Palin has been the victim of the most intense “scandal-hunt” that I have ever seen. (I’m 47.)

And they found NOTHING, except a working family (who have their own everyday problems in life) who decided to get involved and do something about bad government. The real reason she is so popular is that she is one of us, and we’re almost envious because she is DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Unlike yourself, who is sitting behind your keyboard denigrating her.
