LENOIR CITY - A candidate for state representative photographed partially unclothed on a website said today the photo has been removed.
Julia Hurley, 28, of Lenoir City, a Republican candidate for the 32nd Legislative District in the Aug. 5 primary, today refused to describe the photo.
She also said she doesn't know who removed the photo from the website, ModelMayhem.com.
"It's not my website," she said.
A media report describes Hurley's pose in the photograph as "pantless" while wearing high-heel boots. Hurley disputes that description but declined to give her own depiction of it.
Hurley today said the photo was taken in 2005. She said she has been a model since she was 5 years old.
She said the photo was intended for use in artistic magazines, and she doesn't know who removed it from the website over the weekend.

Yes, we should all wear our pants.
I’m gonna go with Not Guilty.
She’s no Madeleine Albright!
I thought not.
“Shes no Madeleine Albright!”
Damn you! lol
Leave that to the godless liberals that never suggest they have moral boundaries. We should NOT lower our standards to accommodate their lack of values.
We are all guilty of going pantless...but some are more guilty than others.
Where’s Porky Pig?
He was pantless his entire career.
Hey whatever turns you on.
Ew! Is that picture from the new show ‘Dancing With The Manatees’?
“Dances With Hildabeasts”
Thats funny man...
Pants or no pants, she’s got my vote.
I don’t know why I thought this was a Michigan story. Sorry.
Still gets my vote.
According to the article, she is 28 and has a 13 year old daughter.
I don’t think that fact, or the fact that she took some racy photos are a big issue, but it’s clear that she has a colorful past.
KnoxNews has already changed their picture. The original one showed her wrapped with a rope.
I've met cheap sluts and I've met expensive ones......
I would hope the GOP women are the expensive ones.........
