As the dust settled yesterday on the Tuesday Primary, Conservatives counted their victories and losses. Outstanding victories in Flordia for Marco Rubio and Rick Scott have given rise to a narrative that the Tea Parties have galvanized the Conservative Base of the Republican Party. In Rick Scott's case, his opponent Bill McCollum was the insider endorsed by Jeb Bush and Mike "Huckles" Huckabee.
Sadly, Sen. John "Amnesty" McCain will be roaming the Senate for 6 more years. J.D. Hayworth was done in by two things: a $21 million war chest and an open primary with many Democrats running over to vote for McCain, ala Operation Chaos. Thank you to J.D. for putting up a good fight til the end. ...

Oh I did not know they had an ‘open’ primary. The first thing that needs to be changed everywhere. This explains it.
Districts with open primaries had better abolish them abolished or get used to RINOs & closet marxists as your representatives.
Districts with open primaries had better abolish them or get used to RINOs & closet marxists as your representatives, for ever & ever amen.
No doubt the communists get to vote twice.
you just know McCain will be one of those guys carried out of the senate in a box.
” J.D. Hayworth was done in by two things: a $21 million war chest and an open primary with many Democrats running over to vote for McCain”
No mention of the Palin endorsement.
In this case the GOP hierarchy wanted to avoid Scott because of ethics and corruption charges involving Medicare fraud in a company Scott used to head.
How about the mad Japanese pilot with the 747 take them all out?
So was Rick Scott the preffered Tea Party candidate to Bill McCollum in Florida? I know he founded Conservatives for Patients’ Rights, which is definitely a plus for him.
I’m not sure why Democrats would run across party lines to vote for McCain when all the polls I’ve seen show McCain beating the Dem nominee by 20 or more points, but Hayworth having lost to the Dem by 3 or 4. If they voted in the GOP primary, they probably voted for Hayworth.
McCollum screwed up by flip flopping on AZ along with Mel Rubio. McCollum is a better man than that slime McCain and Mel Rubio.
Or Hayworth's awful campaign.
When you get to the McCain slot, leave it blank, or fill it in for someone else.
MSM to Pessimist..... SHHHHHHHHH.....
As I understand it, Independents could choose which ballot they wanted, either Democrat or Republican. I don’t agree but evidently that’s how it worked.
Amnesty” McCain makes Obama’s RINO list, smiles.
With you on that idea.
