Posted on 09/18/2010 8:35:06 PM PDT by JohnThune2012

So What Do You All Think Of "President Mike Pence"? What A SURPRISE He Won The STRAW POLL!! Amongst all the potential candidates,He appears to be the Most Presidential. In a way,Mike Pence can be described as "The Conservative John Kennedy".The Tea Party Movement is looking for the next Ronald Reagan and John Kennedy.Mike Pence would be an ideal candidate being he represents the Rust Belt. What are your views on Mike Pence, and who would make an ideal VP? Paul Ryan?

Palin is the next President, so get used to it. She's already won it hands down.

Really?

Stop thinking identity politics. We need a good person who can win.

I don’t care if they are male or female.

Ah, you do realize that Ron Paul and Mitt Romney have also won straw polls, right?

Your boy, Thune has a much better chance - and that’s saying a lot because he doesn’t have a great one at all.

Besides the fact that Pence said he isn’t running, he’s a Congressman. Not only are we not going to nominate a Congressman, but they will barely show in the polls. We go through this EVERY election cycle.

Pence won’t do any better than a very good Conservative, Duncan Hunter, and he certainly won’t do as well as Ron Paul.

Stick with Thune - at least he has some chance. Don’t fall for the “Ambassador X for President” or “Local Congressman Y for President” nonsense. It’s going to be a Governor or Senator, period. It always is, even though every election is always “SOOOO much different ‘this time,’ really!!!”

Pence needs to run for Governor or Senator, then he’ll be a contender. Roght now, he won’t break 10% in his home state.
