I have yet to fathom the full meaning of "Mama grizzlies," no doubt because I am really ignorant of Western literary culture.

Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936)
The Female of the Species

WHEN the Himalayan peasant meets the he-bear in his pride,
He shouts to scare the monster, who will often turn aside.
But the she-bear thus accosted rends the peasant tooth and nail.
For the female of the species is more deadly than the male.

~~~
There's more Mama Bear
Bears usually won't attack humans - but get between a mother bear and her cub, and she'll tear straight through you. Apparently, the same rule applies to human parents. Threaten their husband/wife, child, boyfriend/girlfriend, cat, etc., and you are in for a world of hurt. Never harm someone's loved one - whatever the goal, it's not worth the consequences. ~~~~~
Sarah Palin threatens the LEFT more than anyone I can think of since Ronald Reagan. This article reeks of FEAR. The stench of RATS disgorging and spewing unrelenting HATE tells me that SARAH PALIN is the most powerful woman in the United States today.
Abortion, abortion — it’s always about abortion for these ghouls.
Well, I’m here to tell ya — abortion is the COWARD’S way out. COWARDS, all of them!!!! God forbid women actually allow their children to live and take responsiblility for them, stand UP to the other cowards in their lives who refuse to support them, and/or stop spreading their legs for every Tom, Dick and Harry that walks into their lives.
So many women in this country are so lame and weak willed ...and the same goes for the men associated with them. No wonder everyone is so stressed, so self centered and self absorbed ... no wonder our country has lost its will, it’s center.
I’m tired of being called backward by these self rightous schmucks. It’s THEY who are cowardly, sniveling and backward — backward enough to kill off their own family members — their own flesh and blood — because they want to live life on their own selfish terms.
We need to start calling them what they are — SELFISH COWARDS who couldn’t suffer a hangnail much less the experience of childbirth. Cowards who could not push through or raise a decent human being who can contribute to this world. Just COWARDS.
Sarah Palin, a Republican who governed Alaska for about 15 minutes?
This ridiculous MSM meme is getting old. It's about time that influential Republicans (hello Michael Steele!!!) speak out about WHY SP resigned her position as AK governor ... FRIVOLOUS ETHICS COMPLAINTS brought by hyper-partisan Leftists in Alaska's 'Rat and RINO establishment!
This baseless legal harassment interfered with her ability to govern, and was beginning to cost the state treasury hundreds of thousands just to defend her in court. She was a popular political figure in her state, enjoying 80+% approval among the electorate, who did the RIGHT THING by stepping aside and appointing a like-minded successor. IMHO, by resigning instead of letting herself and her office be smeared by her political enemies, she put her constituents first and her personal interest second by tendering her resignation.
I'm looking forward to Part 2 of the series, "Allen West is no friend of blacks in politics", soon to be followed by Part 3, "Raul Labrador is no friend of hispanics"
Yay, identity politics!
Well, I don’t know exactly what you meant by that. Really, though, three-fourths (3/4) of a term is more than one-half (1/2) of a term at any rate, and is “the majority of a term”, unless my fractions fail me. And the libs are obviously blind with jealousy of Governor Palin. I don’t know what she will do about running. I think if a good Conservative male candidate comes along, she will acquiesce. I mean, who needs the browbeating she has gotten - the lies and lawsuits in Alaska by liberals terrified of her, the lies about her family? She would do better to exercise all the influence possible while she can, to make herself and her family a s*itload of money, and laugh all the way to the bank, then spend her time doing just what she pleases. - I’d honestly like to see her win the whole ball of wax, proceed to do like she did with the Alaska corruption, only in Washington, shut “Katie” Couric out of the White House, and keep on rolling like President Reagan did. - I tell you, I was never more impressed with that man than when he sent the jets to apprehend the terrorists who hijacked the “Achille Lauro”. After the Carter years (for whom to my eternal shame I voted for!) and foreign humilation after foreign humiliation, double digit disgrace after ddd; with Carter telling me that I was in a “malaise” - President Reagan coming on the scene and telling me that was hogwash, that America was a shining city on a hill was like a breath of fresh air. We soared after that. - Needless to say, President Bumpus bowing and kowtowing to the Muslim sheiks and snotnosing the British monarchy is scandalous. I’m ashamed even though I did not vote for him.
