Senator Dick Durbin appeared on CNN’s State of the Union and told Candy Crowley that Sarah Palin’s gun imagery of targeting certain congressional districts was “beyond the bounds” and “not acceptable rhetoric.” Although when pressed by Crowley, Durbin did not want to suggest there was a direct connection between the rhetoric and yesterday’s shooting of Congresswoman Giffords, nor whether there was similarly unacceptable rhetoric amongst Democrats.
Durbin explained:
“We live in a world of violent images and violent words, but those of us in public life and the journalists who cover us, should be thoughtful in response to this and try to bring down the rhetoric, which I’m afraid has become pervasive in our discussion of political issues. The phrase ‘don’t retreat, reload’ – putting crosshairs on congressional districts as targets – these sorts of things I think invite the kind of toxic rhetoric that can lead unstable people to believe this is an acceptable response.”

...For a public official, a sitting United States Senator no less, to make public allegations that a private citizen is, at the very least, morally complicit if not more, in a capitol murder case, without offering any evidence whatsoever, and for the sole purpose no less, of gaining a political advantage. To use this incident solely for selfish purposes is beyond shameful. It's disgusting.
Aw hell, let’s just give up. YES, Sarah Palin shot all those people! OK, liberals, you WIN, it was all her fault! You can add to that list the shooting of Congress back in the 50’s by Puerto Rican Marxists.
I predict that Sarah is compiling a list of the rhetoric being launched at her and will release a long article/oped that will highlight the absolute incestuous affair between the far left and violence both physical and verbal. Start with political assassinations by the left, the treasure trove of the hippy 60s/70s, the rise of the left's violent imagery via the internet. the various media slander topped by "The Killing Of A President", and so on.
No matter what she puts out there it will force the left into defense, a position they should have been in because the is guy in most ways is a product of the left.

In this environment I hate to quote her, but at the moment she is not metaphorically retreating.... I leave it to you to fill in the rest. My guess when she comes out in public to make a statement or statements, it will succinct and to the point to say the least.
I am afraid you are correct. Whenever there is even a smidgen of criticism or negative comment about 0b0z0 or any of the left-wing, marxist, socialist demoRATs, the demoRATs will INSTANTLY react with feigned outrage and massive condemnation of the source. However Repubs just seem to have a tendency to hunker down and let the smears & lies proliferate and finally perhaps may issue some sort of mild presss statement rebuttal. GW Bush was pounded on for 8 years by the demoRATs no matter how much he pandered & appeased & capitulated to the left! You would think by now the Repubs would realize this and instantly react STRONGLY rather than letting the smears & lies proliferate. In other words, go after the attackers the way the demoRATs do!
Frankly, I'm hoping that one day very soon, I can say this is "old news", "it's past history", etc..... just like all the Democrat pundits and paid weasels have been spouting for the last dozen years. Unfortunately we are in for at least a month of Democrat Kabuki Theatre, at least until the next Obama peccadillo occurs or an evil gun owning Republican single handedly gang-molests a minor.
Now that we all know that Jared is an Extreme Far Leftwingtard pretty much in the pattern of Dick Durbin himself, we can see that Dick was trying to cover up his own involvement in the murder of a Republican judge.
I suggest we not forget what this guy is up to and the first chance we get PUT HIM ON TRIAL FOR HIS CRIMES.
I have said this on numerous occasions...
I find Dick Durbin to be the most reprehensible politician in Washington.
He won't get prosecuted, at least at the federal level; he fits at least one of Eric "they're my people" Holder's criteria. While not black, he is 'black' i.e., black in the spirit of his political persuasion - a Democrat, which is just as good as long as it's against a conservative renegade populace - what Holder, Obama, the FBI, TSA, DHS, the BATFE, and any other government entity considers as terrorists and the prime enemy. .
