This is a good read BTM. All she has to do is campaign and ask voters for their support and her numbers are going to go up. Such is the nature of actually campaigning. Palin will gain a lot of instant stature by being in a contested primary.

I almost feel bad for her detractors because they have kind of painted themselves into a corner. What will they do when she does well? Call Orville Redenbacher, we’re going to need tankers of popcorn for the meltdown. Palin detractors: you can finally stop the facade and join your fellow Palin Bashers!

I agree that campaigning is the key....that’s when independents and most Republicans will be engage in the political process to find out information about candidates and when a Palin hater say that Palin is a already known commodity and she can’t go any higher, we can point out that no matter how somebody feels about Palin good or bad, she is a star, a star I might add among stale old white bread men, those people regardless will want to see her alright or hear her at these rallies and speeches, that’s when she will get them.

What the gop establishment fails to understand is that engaging in this drive-by attack on gov Palin they leave themselves wide open to a counter offensive by Gov Palin on them by giving her the green light to attack Bush's policies and by extension their willingness to continue them. Bush left office with >30% approval ratings based mostly on his failed policies.

Obama used those failed polices and the low approval of bush to propel himself into office. the country has rejected Bushism not once but twice in 2006 and 2008. Palin as well as the TEA party was able to make 2010 about Reaganism instead of Bushism.

If the entire gop establishment is against Palin she has no reason to hold her fire. She can and she will go after the failed polices of the last 23 years. She can and she will call a pox on both the failed GOp polices and the failed Obama polices. She can and she will call for a return of Reaganism and a abandonment of Bushism, corny capitalism. After all the poisoning of the well by Rove and CK Will and others has made it an impossible goal to capture the RINO vote for her. which means she will have to cast her net for voters elsewhere. the conservative dem vote, the right leaning independent vote that is tired of partisanship, the conservative vote that is tired of the RINOs, the small l libertarian vote that is tired of the pot smokers ruling their party.

the gop establishment by this full frontal assault on Gov Palin has stretched their lines thin, they have no reinforcements and they are perfectly set up for a massive counterattack by Gov Palin using Reaganism.

also the gop establishment by their endless she can't win mantra is setting up a massive dem operation chaos so leftist crossover and vote for Palin in the open primaries “since she will be the easy one to beat”

At this rate if the gop establishment continues on Palin might win all the NE primaries simply from dems crossing over all based on a lie that the gop establishment put out that “she can't win” Now that would be karma would it not...
