Rick Santorum yanks support from Mitt Romney (First DeMint, now Santorum)

Former Pennsylvania U.S. Senator Rick Santorum slammed former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney Thursday, yanking his support for the potential Republican presidential candidate.

“I have a lot of concerns about him in this election cycle because of the pre-eminence of health care and the issue of Romneycare,” Mr. Santorum said.

Mr. Santorum, who endorsed Mr. Romney in 2008, said he does not plan to support Mr. Romney in 2012 because “It’s a different field. It’s a different set of issues.”

The announcement comes as Mr. Santorum prepares for his own run for president. The Pennsylvania Republican has traveled to a number of states in recent months, meeting with potential supporters and key political figures.

Mr. Santorum also offered his opinion on the health care system implemented by Mr. Romney in Massachusetts.

The Pennsylvania Republican called Massachusetts’ health-care reform “a failure.”

Maybe the Mormom Utah amnesty that Utah, LDS, ROmney and Hairy Reid cooked up with the Utah GOP.

Well, Rick, Mitt’s been a baby-killing, socialist, gun-banning, lying supporter of the sodomite agenda all along.

Forgive me if I’m not impressed that none of that affected your support for the most liberal Governor in the history of the republic but current political realities do.

I think that one presidential candidate not supporting another presidential candidate is not too surprising.

Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.

I’ve been on FR eight years already — and I’m a newbie by contrast with many.

Just when things have wound down from the previous election, it seems as if we’re heading into a new one.

One person that could definitely help Obama get re-elected: Mitt Romney if he wins the 2012 GOP nomination.

Mitt is the “establishment” Republican. Hopefully, it becomes a dying breed.
