Agreed, frankly I found it to be far too indirect a remark to be truly vulgar, and it’s by no means the worst I’ve read here, nor the only one on that subject. Personally, I found the reference rather funny. I quite agree that it was the perceived target of the joke, rather than the content, that caused his banishment. I enjoyed Pissant, I think it’s too bad.

You are forgiven and will you forgive me? I know the importance of words, etc. Either we bless or curse with them. However, I did forget about our situation, it's just one of those things that happens here. So now can we both wipe the slate clean?

You know what is strange. Last night I was, also, convicted, not about our specific situation, but the use of words in general. I listened to an old (from Carter years) teaching that touched on him as an example and a reminder we must pray for our officials and not curse them w/our words. Of course, my immediate reaction was 'yeah, but now we have an illegitimate president' and hated the thought of I shouldn't blast Barry. ;)

Then I come here and you remind me of our situation, it's all the same - our use of words to bless or curse. So thank you. Don't you think it's weird how we both were convicted of the wise use of words at the same time? I've been doing it since the clinton years! This will be a biggie for me to overcome.
