Jesse Ventura: Sarah Palin will win
The State Column ^ | April 3, 2011 | Staff

Posted on 04/03/2011 4:26:33 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura, in an upcoming appearance on “Piers Morgan Tonight,” says former Alaska governor Sarah Palin will win the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.

“She’s the type of person that certainly will be controlled by the status quo and the power structure. So she’d make a perfect candidate for them, she’ll do what she’s told,” Mr. Ventura says.

The former Minnesota governor noted Ms. Palin’s reality show and her current contributions on Fox News, saying the Republican Party is “grooming” her.

The former Alaska governor has yet to announce a presidential campaign. Ms. Palin has noted in the past her interest in seeking the nomination.

In making the prediction, Mr. Ventura seemed to overlook two potential candidates from his home state: Rep. Michele Bachmann and former governor Tim Pawlenty. Both Ms. Bachmann and Mr. Pawlenty have noted their intentions to seek the presidency

I fully agree. There are fundamental differences between men and women that matter. That this even needs to be articulated on a conservative website is ridiculous;

Yup. It goes without saying that the current crop of male candidates are nad-less.

Nice rebuttal, white boy. You've convinced me with your unassailable logic.

Sheesh, merely state that you don't think Palin is the best candidate and it's all Katie bust out the feminine hygiene products!

You think I'm trying to convince you? Are you kidding? I no more care what some numb Palin hater thinks that I care what the NAMBLA crowd thinks. Both can rot in hell for all I care. Not to mention, 9 times out of 10, it's the same crowd.

I was just pointing out your affliction for the rest of the FReepers. Rumptool.

She did what she was told in the last election and she’s never going to allow that to happen again.

“Agree on “do what she’s told..” She supported McLame for Senate and dismisses the Obama Birth Certificate issue....

Don’t give me this, “she had to pay McCain back...” ...Sarah brought many millions to his campaign that would not have happened with any other candidate...thath was payback enough.”

But she thought he should be president, and campaigned for and with him? Is it harder to be senator than it is to be president? Or should she have announced “I was lying in the campaign, I don’t think anyone should support McCain?”

I’m sorry, this is a 100% bogus issue made up by people who need to justify to themselves whatever stupid reasons they have to dislike Sarah Palin.

"If you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, the one that yelps the loudest is usually the one you hit."

Yes indeed and it does appear to be you that is doing the yelping.

That said you still should watch the vulgar language.

and Tiny Tim has the charisma of Henry Gibson or Wally Cox.

Not sure who Henry and Wally are. But apparently you think Pawlenty lacks charisma. Based on what, exactly?

I think he's the contender with the best chance of surviving the left's and the MSM's slings and arrows precisely because of his charisma. He's very difficult not to like, even by those who's political lunch he is eating.

And unlike Palin and Bachmann, I don't think I've ever heard anyone doubt (fairly or not) his intelligence.

I think he will trounce Obama if he gets the nomination.

As I said upthread, I think she can win. I just think his reasoning as to why she will win is completely insane.

...no women nominees..

As a man, I would perfer that a man step up to take care of the woman folk, but sadly, the two most courageous potential candidates are female.

Not necessarily his intelligence, just his judgment and charisma.

Blah-blah-bllllaaaahhh-blah-blahh.

How very original. Boy, you really told me what I said, huh?

I suppose if one wants to stop sounding ignorant, a safe bet is to quote a genius. May it also be underscored here, for the record, that imitation is the highest form of flattery. Care to re-submit, or does your unintended applause stand?
