Sarah Palin Starting a Campaign?
Gather ^ | April 17, 2011 | Paul Roy, Jr.

Sarah Palin has been making more public appearances lately, attending a Tea Party rally in Madison, WI on Saturday, which once again raises the question: could Sarah win the Republican nomination and the presidency?

It seems when it comes to Sarah Palin, people either love her or hate her and that could be her biggest obstacle in a Presidential run; she would need to win all those in the middle if she has any hope of winning. She would have to hope voters take her seriously, but she might not be given the chance to ever talk about the issues.

When she was the Republican running mate of John McCain in 2008, she was forced to spend the majority of her time defending the fact she was a conservative woman, and as such, how could she possibly be as smart as a liberal woman, which led to her always defending any statements she made. It is no secret that the Left-leaning media deliberately tried their best to trip her up in interviews, asking her much more difficult questions than even the Presidential candidates, and for the most part she handled them well.

Sarah Palin was a fresh face in 2008, and she still has what today’s conservatives are looking for. At yesterday’s rally, she called out the Republicans and chided them for not trying hard enough to change things:

"What we need is for you to stand up, GOP, and fight. GOP leaders need to learn how to fight like a girl," she yelled. – NY Daily News 4/17/2011

This is what conservative America likes to hear, and she could also win those middle-of-the-roads who are disillusioned with the “hope and change” which has never materialized from the Obama administration. But she will have to fill out her fighting words with real policies and plans. Sooner or later this is what American voters will want to hear. Palin can hold her own against the press, but will she be able to stand up to those who actually pull the levers? Only time will tell.

Thanks 2ndDivisionVet. Her campaign started with her resignation as Alaska’s governor.

I think she can win it all. If Trump is a plant for Hillary, he will not be making overtures to Palin. I think Palin can make Donald show his true colors.

Regardless to what the DEMS/LIBS think, it seems like the Conservative/Republican groups have variety of good candidates to pick from, while the Dems/Libs have .... Obama with Hillary as a fallback if Obama goes under.

I don’t think there is any doubt at this point about her intentions. Her trip to Israel got me really thinking she will run and her speech in WI yesterday erased all doubt.

The Saracuda is on the loose!

"The ones that say she will need polices and plans out themselves as being hopelessly uneducated..."

No kidding. Both Rush and Levin state that her second book (now leaping off bookstore shelves again since her Madison speech on Saturday!) is the most impressive catalog of substantive, in-depth policy statements and proposals they have ever read.

I know, they're both just a couple of RINO lightweights... < /sarcasm/off > but that has to be the most resounding endorsement from two arch-coservative icons I have seen in my nearly 60 years of watching American polics.

It's hers as soon as she announces. She'll out fundraise Bambi, out-draw him at campaign stops, out-energize her base, and win it walking away at 57%-or-better with a clear mandate from the American heartland.

;-/

Palin will draw crowds equal too or greater than what Obama drew in 08, and the people in her crowds will actually have IQ’s above 100. Indies will eventualy warm to her, she will be unstoppable!

Independent voters are bandwagon voters. Once they see the enthusiastic crowds for Sarah, they're going to do some digging and find out that she's not the scary person she was made to be, and most of them will support her.

In Madison, you could see the discouragement on the looks of the pro-union people's faces and some of them quietly went home.

That's the beauty of Sarah. Her support is locked in nobody is going to have 2nd thoughts about supporting her.

re: “It’s hers as soon as she announces. She’ll out fundraise Bambi, out-draw him at campaign stops, out-energize her base, and win it walking away at 57%-or-better with a clear mandate from the American heartland.”

And she’ll win without using voter fraud and intimidation.

“I think Palin can make Donald show his true colors.”
_______________________________________________________

I agree 100%!

If Donald really does love this country like he says he does, then he’ll step aside if she gets the primary, and not pull the “Independent” card.

It will be vital for her to expose him as early as possible. Thank God Mark Levin is sounding the warnings about Trump already!

Hey, if Trump is playing strait, no problem, but if he’s pulling some underhanded, self-promoting B.S., well, then i hope Palin vets him out early!

I’ve got my check book ready should Palin decide to run!

Didn't stop Obama, did it? You either loved him or hated him, but he ran and won.
