As America bids farewell to the space shuttle era on Thursday, likely presidential candidate Rick Perry appears none too pleased with the Obama administration, accusing the president of “leaving American astronauts with no alternative but to hitchhike into space.”
In a sharply worded statement issued by the governor of Texas -- the state is home to the Johnson Space Center -- Perry charges that the Obama Administration “continues to lead federal agencies and programs astray, this time forcing NASA away from its original purpose of space exploration, and ignoring its groundbreaking past and enormous future potential.”

When you need a serviceable tool such as a saw, which is worse - no saw, or a junk one that cant’ cut and is actually dangerous to use? Better to have no saw so you look and find one that works.

That my friend is the “TICKET”...to restore America to it’s greatness.....as Winston Churchill once said something to the effect: Americans finally get it right after they have exhausted all other choices! Perry and Palin would be getting it right in my humble opinion.. Four or eight years for Perry and then eight for the young lady....leading America back to greatness after this four year fiasco. Hell it will take half that time to get the stench out of the peoples house! Honestly, I think ANY & ALL foreign aid payments should be (at least) temporarily halted due to our economic situation. THAT is where the cuts should have been made - FIRST! ALL JMHO. Forget withholding Social Security, and destroying one of the institutions that makes us leaders in our world in regards to science, invention, and exploration... If you can’t pay your bills you shouldn’t be giving all your money away to charities — you can’t help others unless you help yourself first!
