I’m around these people all the time and whether we like it or not, the fact is that they favor moderates. They’re pretty disenchanted with BHO, so we can get them back - that’s the good news. But they don’t want anyone they consider “extreme” (their word) either left or right. They consider themselves Independents, not D or R, Lib or Conservative, for a reason.

Most of them like Romney right now. Maybe (hopefully) we can get them off that. I bring up Palin and Cain but they won’t go for it, for various reasons - Perry they’re showing interest in, though.

I wish we’d see more polling of the I’s, because that seems to be the biggest voting group that can be won back from BHO and the Dems.

That’s what we’re facing.

I don’t buy into that line of reasoning. I know alot of conservatives who are registered as independents because they are disenchanted with the republican party. Sarah Palin is not an ‘extremist’ and that truth is getting out.

This is a center right country and it’s a long time until the election. My guess is that by the time the primary rolls around...it’s gonna be Sarah’s for the taking. By the time the general election rolls around..it’s gonna be anyone but Zero!
