Hadn’t thought of it that way. I surely would like the conservatives to wrest the power from them! I told my hubby the other day that Romney might ultimately get the nomination but I loved that we haven’t made it easy thus far.........

the woman ... wow...I really really hate when someone says that. It is so degrading for us women to be called "the woman". Yikes...
Anyway, Perry was not supposed to run either, Georges Washington kept on saying no...why suddenly Sarah could not change her mind when she realizes that field is totally hopeless? And STOP calling us "the woman"...sheeshhh

I don’t know the context in which you have seen that phrase deployed before, but it was clearly intended respectfully:
The man has made up his mind.
The woman has made up her mind.
What is the damn difference?
