RON PAUL Changes the Republican Party, or Not?

Rep. Dr. Ron Paul is the only Candidate now running who:

1.) Has a comprehensive platform that will cut BASELINE Federal spending.

2.) Insists that all of the planks in his platform are consistent with the US Constitution.

3.) Accepts the fact that the USA can no longer financially afford to be the World’s policeman.

4.) Fully understands how to dismantle the disastrous Federal medical “entitlements” of Medicare, Medicaid, and the illegal Obama”care.”

5.) Has a comprehensive plan to abolish or dramatically shrink 5 Federal Departments, or Bureaus.

These positions set Dr. Paul apart from the rest of the Candidates who stubbornly cling to the time-honored traditions of "The Bipartisan Cave-In" by the RINO Political Party. (Democrats NEVER cave-in, but they still call it Bipartisan.)

I enjoy reading about the furor caused by Ron Paul rocking the boat. Paul offers a clear philosophical break to the leadership of the RINO Party, and thus has triggered the fear emotion of “fight or flight” among many faithful RINOs.

Four years from now, Senator Rand Paul will probably run for POTUS. Watch closely this year, and compare what you see to what Rand will be saying 4 years from now.

As usual, the “most electable” RINO will be chosen as the Party Nominee in Tampa, a failed and time-tested method of “playing not to lose,” just like the way losing teams do in football.

Nonetheless, Rep. Paul has defined a platform that the RINO Party must take some planks from to avoid going the way of the Whig Political Party.

All I know is that the choices we have at this moment in time will produce a candidate that will still take the United States over a cliff a little slower because the next president will not have the stones to do any different.
We are screwed.
We had this chance and we blew it.
Nothing changed and it will be too late after Obama stomps the next candidate into the dirt.
I am so depressed.

Get a grip and join reality. You think Jefferson, the man who went after the Barbary Pirates would brown nose Iran ala Ron Paul style?

Simple, Ron Paul is NOT Republican, NOT Tea Party and NOT conservative. Ron Paul is a Soros-backed puppet. His support used to come from libertarian foilhats but the main constituency is white supremicists, occupy parasites, Democrats who are doing a reverse operation chaos, and code pinkos.

His lies, anti-US Constitution, isolationism, pandering to conspiracy whackos, blaming the US for 9/11, and more prove that he is nothing but a leftwing kook.

Rep. LRon Paul is the only GOP candidate now running who:

LRon Paul Wants Kucinich in his Cabinet

Nader, who has recently called this progressive-liberaltarian coalition "the most exciting new political dynamic" in the US today …….. "I believe in coalitions," Rep. Paul echoed.

Paul will give his seal of approval to four candidates: Green Party nominee Cynthia McKinney, Libertarian Party nominee Bob Barr, independent candidate Ralph Nader and Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin.

The only possible effect will take place if he runs on a third party ticket. He will help the Republican nominee by doing so, as most of his support comes from young liberals who ignore his fiscal message and support his liberal policies regarding foreign policy and drug legalization.

My read is that much of his support from the conserative side comes from people who vote third party or don’t vote anyway.

Run Doctor, run!

2.) Insists that all of the planks in his platform are consistent with the US Constitution.

3.) Accepts the fact that the USA can no longer financially afford to be the World’s policeman.

Those two points alone scuttle Ron Paul's chances of winning the Republican nomination. If there are two things that the modern Republican Party stands for it is dispensing of the Constitution when convenient - Big Government spending (TARP, Medicare Part D) eviscerating the Bill of Rights (Patriot Act, NDAA) and unending, Trillion-dollar a year Globalist military interventions. If that wasn't enough they emulate the Soviet Union in one more way. They label anyone that opposes their policies as "crazy". Ron Paul really is a RINO.

That's pretty much it ~ Rep. Paul is a Libertarian. They have a political party.

This makes Paul a RINO ~ a Republican In Name Only. He does that to run for office. This is an old tradition in the Souf' and Texas. Run as a Republican to bypass the demands of the Democrats, or Libertarians or whatevers.

For many years the Republican party throughout the Souf' was a SHELL. Now it's not, so this sort of behavior is far more serious.

So, let's count up how many RINOs the Republicans have using different definitions

(1) Traditional ~ (as describe above) ~ that'd give us Perry and Paul.

(2) More modern ~ ustabe a Democrat, Libertarian or some other party but didn't run as one ~ that'd give us Michelle Bachman and that Johnson guy (although Johnson tried to run as a Libertarian the other day).

(3) Ustabe a Republican but joined or allied with Democrats ~ that'd be Jon Huntsman.

This leaves Newt Gingrich, Romney and Santorum as the only real, full scale, authentic Republicans running in this primary for President.

So, 8 candidates and 5 of them arguably RINOs under very narrow interpretations of the term.

Some still want to label Romney for his mind-numbed, robot-like, knee-jerk Leftwingtard government program outlook ~ but I think we already have sufficient terms concerning such folks so there's no sense wasting a perfectly usable term like "RINO" on them.

Only Gingrich and Santorum are clear cut, down the line, traditional Republicans.

So rand, which part of Responsible’s statement is incorrect?
These statements have been shown dozens and dozens of times on FR, however tell which are untrue.

Ron Paul has become a political terrorist who uses his street thugs to harass and disrupt the other candidate's events. And if you were watching C-SPAN last night, you saw his goons, aligned with the Occupy anarchists, converge on Newt's campaign headquarters and attempt to take over a Santorum press conference.

In fact, the Occupy idiots marched on Paul's headquarters to declare their SUPPORT for him.

What a disgusting excuse for a politician.

*Disclaimer* I am not a Ron Paul follower. */Disclaimer*

How is he racist? The right is as quick to throw out the race card as the left when it suits them.

Pro-dope alliance? Yeah, the War on Drugs is such a righteous war isn't it.

Soros funding? It was proven back in 2008 that McCain was funneled money from various Soros operated fronts. Republicans just put their fingers in their ears and sang lalalalala.

Iran friendly policies? What legislation has he proposed in support Iran.

Gut the military. I can tell you right now how much waste, cronyism, shadiness, etc. there is in the Department of Defense.
