Well, we currently have a president with a history we know practically nothing about. Among the facts that we do know is he was raised partially by and in the company of socialist-leaning Americans, he was adopted and raised partially by a Muslim in Indonesia and attended a muslim school there where he recalls the islamic "call to prayer one of the sweetest sounds" he has ever heard, and he attended a racist church for many years.

I don't see why we couldn't have a president who has been divorced twice and married three times over the course of his lifetime.

I think an argument can be made for a possible Gingrich "self-destruct". After all, it was only a scant few weeks ago he was persona non grata pretty much across this board; and that for good reasons

However, that was then and this is now. Game is ON.

It would appear that Romney has lived up to the nickname I saw another FReeper hang on - Mitt25%. And Newt, right now is the prime not-Romney option.

He's demonstrated in S Caro that his instinct is sharp as far as nailing down the base. He smashed a conventional assumption that he loses the women and that Santorum has the Evangelicals.

He's also connecting on the personal level as Mitt's personality deficit only increases under the pressure of second place.
