They are true believers in a weak America...

The ones in these parts believe in a free America, one which will allow the economy to regrow, without the onerous and expensive burden of excessive government. Without a solid economic base, all else is moot: just Greece with a bigger auction sale.

The Ron Paul people I have talked with in these parts very lucidly make the case for taking of our own problems, closing our southern border, eliminating a half-dozen federal Departments which are generally without Constitutional authority, and slashing the Federal Budget along Constitutional lines.

Funny how getting government out of the way of the private sector is considered 'weak', when the Federal parasite is drinking deep of this nation's lifeblood.

Since "Provide for the common defense" is part of the Constitution, it does not mean a weak America, just one that doesn't intervene in other soverign nations' affairs unbidden unless they pose a clear and immediate threat to us. In the meantime, we would do well to permit our own resources and industry to be developed so we don't have to rely on the Chinese to loan us the money to buy weapons components they manufacture because the EPA won't let us develop our own resources.

Read Sun Tsu and study asymmetrical warfare and perhaps you will understand how our own government is weakening us while rattling sabers around the world.

Our service people are the best, ever, anywhere. But if we can't back them up from the home front, then what?

I agree with the post about voting everybody out on the ticket that supports Romney. He is just another RINO that the left has stuck in there like McCain figuring he won't win against Obama. when the WH says they don't want to run against Romney (that's our cue that is exactly who they want) as well as the media hype...the media is so behind Romney. Note: the debates ask stupid questions i.e. why would your wife be a better first lady? They never ever ask the questions that “we the people” need to have answers to.I think that is why Newt blew up at Juan and John K..he knows what they are doing. And he isn't going to play their stupid games.

The “establishment”, who Fox news says doesn’t exist, is made up of elites from both parties. They share power and love the jet setting life they live. And they don’t want you to come along and mess it up. The sooner we realize this, the sooner a real conservative party can be born.

I’m disappointed with Palin supporting Newt. Newt can’t be trusted. He is no conservative. He maybe better than Romney, but only slightly. The only real choices are Sanctorum or Ron Paul

Rep. Ron Paul? Seriously? A racist, anti-semite who thinks the US government caused 9/11? You’re kidding, right? And what has Senator Santorum ever accomplished? Can you name one thing?

Santorum may be a fiscal conservative, but he is in no way a fiscal conservative, and right now we need a fiscal conservative.
Cut and Run is not a conservative in ANY way. The surrender monkey is anti-America, anti-military pro-gay, pro-OWS, pro code pink, the earmark king. He is closer to Obama than anybody. The only difference between Paul and Obama is that Obama realized the world is a safer place without OBL. The surrender monkey thinks we deprived OBL his civil rights to kill innocent Americans.

I’m disappointed with Palin supporting Newt.

You need to listen to her more carefully, then.

She has not endorsed Newt, and I do not think she will.

I have, support is another word for endorse. Out of all the candidates, she support Newt and her attempt to say, its not really endorsing, she just want to see more competition in the race, is not fooling anyone

This writer is dreaming. What is she or anyone else going to do. We sit on our hands and let Obamma get reelected. Or, we hold our noses.

No way I vote for Romney. Can you give me one reason why I should? Obama you say? Please tell me why you think I should hold my nose to vote for one liberal over the other?

Supreme Court Justices? Well that's a good reason, right? So how did those Conservative appointments in Mass work out? ObamaCare? Yes we need to end ObamaCare, but didn't Romney provide the blueprint. Oh that's right, his plan only looks the same, but it is really different (I promise!!).

But what about that Individual Mandate? Well according to Romney we can have no free loaders!! Yes, if you are born a citizen of the US and breathe it is only fair to ask you to do your part and buy insurance!! That is American, right? Now, now ... government knows best!!

Oh but there is the 59-point economic plan, which gives tax cuts to anyone who makes less then 200k per year!! That's a reason. After all, it is only right that rich people pay their fair share ... but wait ... didn't Obama already pitch that idea already?

Ah, but I can think of one significant difference between the two candidates. If Obama wins we will have a Republican Congress to fight his every move while we wait on 2016 to nominate a real conservative. If Romney wins the Congress will work with their party candidate to pass his liberal agenda and in the process kill whatever remains of the Conservative Movement. >p>No thank you. I'd rather eat my children then vote for that liberal trash.

I saw the county by county map. It is the folks most susceptible to being influenced by big TV AD campaigns (Romney’s was huge!) that overwhelmed the vote.

The comfortably retired who were trained there whole lifetime to respond to and go along with TV AD’s — from childhood to their senility. The passive generation.

“Kill them” makes a good sound bite, and accusing Paul of wanting a weak military also sounds good, and may have some validity, but, if we do not institute Paul’s economic and domestic agenda, we will not be able to afford to “kill them.”

I want out of this Union.

I've been like that for 20 years. If first you don't secede...

The republic is desiged to be divided quickly and easily. Our Southern ancestors set up a brand new central goventment in Richmond in 2 months back in 1861. Think about it.
