Liberalism is Terminally Ill
Canada Free Press ^ | June 10, 2012 | Matt Barber

It’s been a pitiful sight – a sad week for progressives and “Big Union” Democrat-shilling thugs. In the wake of Tuesday night’s devastating recall smackdown in Wisconsin, tens of thousands of “Occupy” hippies across the nation have simply been too depressed to get stoned and not look for work.

On Wednesday the White House released President Obama’s detailed itinerary through October:

1.Worry
2.Lie
3.Obfuscate
4.Golf
5.Fundraise
6.Worry

Indeed, the president has much to worry about. No honest politico can deny that liberals’ Wisconsin debacle likely represents a shadow of things to come – a precursor to November.

Recall DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Shultz’s admission on CNN. In a rare moment of candor, she said Wisconsin was a “dry run” – a “test run” for the 2012 election. (A bit like the Titanic’s test run, as it turns out.)

Tuesday night Sarah Palin took to Fox News where she said that Scott Walker’s humiliating defeat of Tom Barrett, the DNC and heretofore-excessively-coddled-labor-union-leaders spells big trouble for little Barry. “Obama’s goose is cooked,” she said. “It’s the union leaders who need to be recalled.”(continued)

One is a liberal in the mold of Bush 41, Gerald Ford and Giuliani. The other is a liberal in the mold of V.I. Lenin, Henry Wallace and Fidel Castro. Pick one.

Hear, hear!

Also "one" is a bottom-feeding, scumbag, who has done more to harm our Republic (intentionally or otherwise; count me among those who believe it is the latter) and has done everything in his power to appease/defend/support OUR ENEMIES...(Radical Islam) going so far as to appoint/embrace as "advisers/confidants" MEMBERS OF THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD, who's intent (if I need remind all) is to "Destroy our miserable house from within..."

Someone want to point to where Mittens has ever said/done anything near as dangerous and threatening to our Republic???

Yeah, thought so.....Cue the Crickets Chirping soundtrack....!

Today's manifestation (or infestation) of American liberalism didn't exist forty-fifty years ago. The modern mindset of liberalism that you can spend what you don't have with no ramifications down the line started with the LBJ admin, but those were in times of a growing economy. Even so, they didn't waste the money like they do today. In those days, you could make libs somewhat aware and careful of their dizzy spending plans if not ashamed of them.

Not so today. Today libs blithely spend trillions and shrug their shoulders demanding we throw trillions more down lib ratholes. What should be common sense, don't go deep into debt, is seen as a sign of reactionary stone age troglodytes who don't care about the poor and the dispossessed. Wisconsin finally turned to common sense in 2010 and again last Tuesday. Maybe there is hope for this country after all.

No thanks to you, you selfish child of the 60's.

If you can't get your way, you will pout like the spoiled brat that you rage about.

You may program in java, but your brain is locked in cobol.

With your self serving way, you can rest assured that America will perish.

I have pity for you and your raving purists.

If Scott Walker had lost the recall, the hippies were planning to celebrate by hanging out in their moms’ basements and getting baked. Instead, they’re mourning by hanging out in their moms’ basements getting baked.

Amen ... I can’t stand Romney but I’ll vote for him to keep FUBO from another four years. If you stay at home that’s one more vote for FUBO.

Nixon gave us the EPA and price controls; Reagan increased taxes and signed an amnesty bill.
If we can take back the senate and WH, we can take back America.

Well put, but given those choices, I'll hold my nose and vote for Romney. If Obama is reelected on November 6th it could very well be the last free presidential election we will see for a very long time. Obama has given himself frightening powers to curtail free speech, shut down the Internet, control the media and even "detain" US citizens indefinitely in time of national emergency. All it would take is a trumped up "Reichstag fire" incident to make Obama a virtual dictator. Obama has already shown his disregard for Congress, the courts and the Constitution and his willingness to rule by decree. In a second term we could only expect this to get worse. I think our choice in November is clear.

“On Tuesday night, blogger David Burge of the Iowa Hawk blog “tweeted: ‘The principal delusion of liberals is that liberalism is popular. The principal delusion of conservatives is that liberalism is popular.’

Modern liberalism:

(1) Your problems are not your fault. Your problems are caused by bad people who don't deserve what they have, and we will solve all your problems by taking money away from them and giving it to you.

(2) You have a right to be happy. If you are unhappy, it is someone else's fault. We will force others to celebrate, affirm, and subsidize your choices, and we will smack down people who are doing better than you in order to assuage your status anxiety.

(3) All lifestyles are equally legitimate, and if yours has negative consequences, we will bail you out to level the playing field.

(4) You do not need to worry about the future. Live for today, and we will take care of the rest.

What is unpopular about any of that?
