“Yes, you did an excellent job.”

Thanks, but as much as I’d love to take credit for protecting this country from Perry, luckily Perry did most of that himself. My only problems with him is his lust for selling off our highways and his love of Illegals.

But now he’s sealed his fate as far as his future goes, getting into bed with Dewhurst.

This Tea Partier is working to help Cruz and I don’t even live in Texas.
And Ted is endorsed and fully supported by Mark Levin and that IS enough for me.
Dewhurst=out.
Cruz-in.

I’m glad someone is willing to listen to reason.

The Texas media has hated on the Texas statewide elected officials for so long, because these officials are conservative, and have been beating their democrat favorites like a rented mule for so long, that the Texas media just wants the scalp of any of the current officials they can get.

They hate that Hutchison is going to be replaced by a more conservative senator, too, and they sense the likelihood that Cruz would be less conservative than Dewhurst, so they report the nonsense that Dewhurst was booed at the convention. Yes, there were some rowdy Cruz people yelling “CROOOZ” and maybe even a few saying boo, but so what? Are we so sensitive that we are shocked and afraid of a little boorish, rude, or juvenile behavior at a political convention? Perry and Dewhurst both took the interruptions in good humor, and with the feeling it was good to have a spirited convention. The media reported it as if the CROOOZ or BOOOZE shouts were some sort of terrible unanticipated, unprecendented breach of decorum and as if the Cruz peoples enthusiastic reactions were the general reaction of the delegates to Perry and Dewhurst, but I can assure you, it was not - the CROOOZ shouters were but a small fraction of the delegates.

I guess you have heard Mark Levin decribe himself as The Great One so many times you actually believe it.

Well, some northeastern lawyer talk-show host endorsement of a felloe lawyer over a conservative Texas businessman is not enough to cut it with me.

Since you don’t live in Texas and are unaware of the great government we’ve had for years with Perry and Dewhurst, I’m surprised you would work for Cruz.

I respect the tea party but they won’t dictate to me in my own state.

Well, thank God you can’t vote here because Dewhurst will win easily.

As for Mark Levin, I can’t listen to him.

There is a distinct possibility that in the process of at least attempting to TRY and take our country back, someone out there will realize that the GOPE has GOT to GO, and includes those coming up behind them from their various farm teams in important states, for years now being groomed to continue the RINO reign in DC!

It is even possible that voters will understand that the Establishment is responsible for fascilitating Marxist movement into our government for their own sake, for entrenchment, power, committee favors, and money.

If ONE mediocre Republican gets swept out in a purge of those sorts then so be it. Many of us are willing to vote for a newcomer to the US Senate, who is beholding to conservative activists for his candidacy, and took him to a run off against a guy (DEWHURST) who has failed utterly to even court conservative interest groups or the Tea Party.

I’d say most of the danged cantankery going on around here comes from those in a huff in general, over some other reasons, who are on permanent pout and willing to play footsie with the Establishment, just cuz, and willing to enable the same old RINO FINDER process.

Go vote for DEW. I’m sure you will. All two of you, but the Tea Party is looking to clean house.

Cruz may not even make it. It’s up hill all the way. If your DEWboy throws in the Democrat money that’s coming his way and then some of his own 250 million fortune, it will be tough enough. So cheer up, but the criticism of those of us in actual resistance mode and rebellion is a little the pot calling the kettle black.

Just a little weary here of the whining.

Cruz for US Senate, 2012

The REAL story is that the Democrats aren't even running a serious candidate for this seat.

How often to we hear about how Texas is going 'Blue'.

True!

GOP controls Texas politically and yet the Democrats are treated like buddies.

If he has done such a good job, why can't he explain what he has done!

Just lay out the conservative things that he has gotten passed.

Why go out of the way to attack Cruz if you have a real conservative record.

Are you talking about Perry or Dewhurst?

Perry created a business friendly climate making Texas one of the most successful states.

Perry defunded Planned Parenthood.

Perry instituted tort reform, lawsuits being one of the biggest expenses doctors face... doctors like Texas.

Perry kept the Texas government lean and mean which he wanted to do nationally.

People move TO Texas not away from it.

I could name ten more things, but you don’t care anyway.

If you’re so weary of the whining, why do you keep doing it?

You’re obviously not from Texas.

Your remark about ‘all two of us’ is kind of silly.

Dewhurst held a large margin over Cruz and only failed to get a majority because there were 4 candidates.

Dewhurst has a proven record of accomplishment in Texas. Cruz is an outsider who has convinced some tea party people that he’s an attack dog who will single-handedly bring conservatism to the senate.

Why don’t you clean up your own state and, by the way, I am sick of the term GOP-E.

Dewhurst’s loan to his campaign = $12,025,000 - trying to buy a senate seat?

Ted Cruz would have won a convention vote, hands down, ngat.

This was my 12th RPT state convention.

A Texas TEA party patriot.

Mark Levin has never referred to himself as The Great One. That name was given to him by the rest of us who admire and respect him.

Cruz is a conservative alternative to a GOP backed establishment good ol’boy. No thanks...And as for Dewhurst “winning easily”, we’ll see about that!

“Dewhurst’s loan to his campaign = $12,025,000 - trying to buy a senate seat?”

Cruz’s out-of-state interests, clubs, and superpacs have spent more than that already trying to buy another Harvard Lawyer into Washington D.C.s most exclusive club.

“Ted Cruz would have won a convention vote, hands down, ngat.”

Is that your first gratuitous assertion of the day? That is simply not true.

“This was my 12th RPT state convention.”

Good for you. I am proud you are a concerned citizen.”

“A Texas TEA party patriot.”

Good on ya, mate!

So, why is it all you CROOOOZ people’s main motivation always seem to be jealousy toward the fact that Lt. Governor Dewhurst jumped in there and caught a rise in the price of land and energy since the last collapse in the eighties, and you didn’t?

You will see about that in July, MM.

It won’t be close.

You’re right about Mark Levin, that was the title given to him here. His name here was ‘hold on now.’

Even Mark Levin is gone from FR.

I can’t stand to listen to him because he insults everyone including people who agree with him.

If I wanted to hear a cranky old dude,I go downstairs and engage the domestic partner in conversation.

I like Rush. He’s right more often and he is gracious to everyone.

Class envy?

Hate the wealthy?

I find it kind of honorable and admirable than a man as wealthy as David would still want to serve his country rather than lie on the beach and not be insulted by uninnformed people.

And, for the 5th or 6th time, can someone tell me what Cruz is or has done to warrant being a senator from Texas?
