In a brief televised statement following the decision, Romney vowed that his first priority upon entering the White House would be repealing the so-called Obamacare law.
President Obama may have won the health care battle at the Supreme Court, but Mitt Romney is claiming a victory in the money wars.
Since the court released its stunning 5-4 decision upholding Obamas health care law Thursday morning, the Romney campaign has taken in a flood of donations from Republican supporters angry about the ruling.
Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul tweeted Friday that the campaign received more than 47,000 online donations totaling $4.6 million in the 24 hours since the ruling.
The surge in small donations indicates that the decision may be an effective weapon for Republicans to mobilize conservatives for the general election.
In a brief televised statement following the decision, Romney vowed that his first priority upon entering the White House would be repealing the so-called Obamacare law. Despite overseeing similar health care legislation while he was governor of Massachusetts, Romney said Thursday that the federal law was bad policy yesterday, its bad policy today.
In a surprise move, Chief Justice John Roberts cast the tiebreaking vote that preserved the laws controversial individual mandate, arguing that it is constitutional as a tax.
I wonder why the Obama campaign isn’t reporting any”spike”in their campaign donations since the decision?Could it be that they are down??
Every $$$$$ for Mr. RomneyCARE
is a $$$$$ for lying, backstabbing, RomneyCARE,
RomneyTAXES, RomneyDEATH PANELS, RomneyDuplicity,
and a $$$$$ less for a real conservative.
Mr. RomneyCARE does nothing except make more $$$$$
for his elevators for his cars.
So... does that mean you will be voting for him?
The problem is that he can’t repeal ObamaCare on his first day in office. It’s a budget item now so the proper way to get rid of it is to pass a budget without it.
I suppose he could issue an executive order to end it but I’m guessing his advisers will be against it.
In this Alice In Wonderland new ObamaNation we live in? God Bless you! It was a so-called "Conservative" judge appointed by Bush and supported by many of us conservatives who handed Obama a victory in the court yesterday while Justice Kennedy was on our side.
That's the sad truth!
Let's see. According to some folks that post like you do Romney is going to kick me in the nuts. OK, that's an assertion you can have. Maybe you are right. Maybe you are wrong. Just for the sake of things I'll agree. Romney will kick me in the nuts!
On the other hand. Obama wants to cut my nuts off.
Hmm. I've given it some thought and darn it I'm a Romney supporter!!!!
Conservatives (like me) who wanted Gingrich in the primaries have a choice. We can grumble and sit out the election or waste our vote on some fringe candidate who has no chance, or we can join with other conservatives in fighting to save this Republic. After another Obama term, the USA will be unrecognizable.
The primaries are over and we lost. So, Diogenesis, are you in or are you out? Will you help us elect Romney? Or will you sabotage our efforts? It's time to lead, follow, or get out of the way.
He is on record as saying he will give everyone a waiver.
That should buy some time for Congress to start dismantling this mess.
Ifyou don’t want to support Romney with $$$ you can suppor the Senate races...http://www.nrsc.org/ We need at least fifty one (tax issues) but a veto proof house and senate would be wonderful.
They claim they raised more than Gov. Romney, but they won’t disclose how much. Hmmmm.

Is he lying now or lying then.
We are all going to have a ton of leftist crap forced upon us with, either, more of President Obama, or four years, if not, even, more, of a President Romney! Leftist crap for many years to come v.s. Leftist crap for many years to come! Where’s the choice, in the race for ‘12 POTUS? And, why be forced to vote for a RINO, yet again? How can the “vote for the RINO” trend, actually and finally, end? I’m way beyond sick of this never ending trend!
I was hoping Rubio or Jindal would run. Romney wasn’t my favorite candidate, but I’ll take him over Obama any day.
I am still waiting for the name of the person I am supposed to support at the brokered convention.
Dude it's like this!!
Romney is what we got handed to us and as much as I do not like Romney I HATE OBAMA 10 FOLD!!
So lets get Romney in and start kicking the Rinos out of the house and senate and just maybe we might have a chance to change things.
2nd post down tells me that you are an opportunist and wait for threads like these so you can take your fit.
These guys have a choice. They can get Obama out of office or engage in a shooting war.
They act so pompous about having to vote for Romney because they are more worried about not looking “pure” enough, but they actually think they are going to have to stones to pick up a gun?
In any case, I am going to keep the promise I made in a post to an anti-Romney freeper yesterday: I am going to donate $5 for every anti-ROmnet post I read here every month.
