“Our government has gotten so big and so oppressive, people are beaten into submission. They don’t remember what freedom really is. Most have never experienced it. It’s hard to fight for something they’re unfamiliar with.”

No the biggest problem is that too many Americans are too self-absorbed and just plain lazy.

This is really just a lot of SRM hype. I have to believe voters aren’t as fickle as the SRM would have us believe.

I think the voters will still support him when it comes down to the actual vote. I think they're just pi$$ed right now because he said something stupid.

If they don't vote for him - look what they'll end up with instead. It's a no brainier.

Well only a fool could miss it.

Republican support in Missouri for the party’s likely nominee has fallen from 94% in late July to 85% now,” Rasmussen continues

Tomney panicked and panic never leads to best behavior.

Yep. Al Frankin, famous for his rape jokes, is campaigning with the Oboma team. Romney should have used this little tidbit. Had he waited, he'd have known.
If Romney is to blame for what akin said, Oboma is responsible for Frakins joking and laughing about it. So, to Oboma and Biden, according to the lefts own propaganda, rape is hilarious!

.

Maybe they’re following Martin Luther’s advice of supporting a competent Turk over an incompetent Christian

Your absolutely correct . Romney should step down and make Akin th epreseidentialmnominee. Akin would crush Obama with 70% and would carry California.

I started prepping for collapse about 4 or 5 years ago. I think it’s inevitable at this point. As an ex-amellinialist, I say amen to your last comment.

READ the poll. It all right here for anyone who bothers to THINK rather then just emote about this issue.

“Obama’s Democratic support in the state remains largely unchanged at 96%, and voters not affiliated with either major party still favor Romney by 20 points. But Republican support in Missouri for the party’s likely nominee has fallen from 94% in late July to 85% now,” Rasmussen continues.

I agree with your assessment. Romney may have lost some conservatives for not having the courage to stand with Akins in his support of fetal life. He could have said ‘The word should have been violent rape instead of legitimate rape. I'll send Todd a better dictionary.”

Missouri: Home of meth labs and weak beer. Also lots of Democrats, homosexuals and peckerwoods.

That will sure endear your cause to the voters of Missouri. Keep it up.

If the people of Missouri are so stupid, then so be it.

I’m halfway rooting for the Zombie Apocalypse anyhow.

The person running for Akin’s old seat gives a perfct example of intelligent criticism of his remarks:
“Todd Akin’s comments about rape were wrong and indefensible. Todd has apologized and understands he was wrong in what he said.”

Simple. Easy.

I expect that many people who would otherwise vote Republican will just stay home in disgust at the mess.

There’s something eerie how quickly Romney and the GOP unloaded on Akin. If I lived in Missouri and voted for Akin, I’d be angry at The Machine for telling me whom to vote for. Whether it is for the “good of the country” for him to quit is up to his voters. He misspoke and apologized - what else can he do?
Of course, the ultimate irony would be if he stays in and wins...

Missouri is number one in meth busts because we go after them with a vengeance. First state to form a meth lab task force dedicated to one task-bust labs. And they do. Over 2K annually.

Weak beer? Missouri? Your thinking of Kansas/Oklahoma.

Democrats? Most states have plenty of 'em. Ours are confined mostly to KC/StL.

Homosexuals? Most states have plenty of 'em.

Peckerwoods? They abound. But it is better to be a peckerwood than a peckerhead.

Missouri also has CCW. Castle Doctrine. And a Purple Fence Law. Three things many of us have worked long and hard for.

Please. There's no reason for you to apologize.

Some people like you, are just born stupid.

I have major doubts about your military background. I always find it funny how people try to use the internet to make themselves look better.

From the omission of your state of residence, I'm guessing you're embarrassed about your dwellings.

Again, no reason for an apology.
