IA, NH good. But disappointed MI isn’t on that list, or WI.

Does that mean they don’t think they have a chance in WI or MI?

From what I read last night on Rasmussen, Romney is leading in ALL 11 battleground states by at least 4 points, thats including Wisconsin. Romney knows what the internal polls show, he will eventually put out ads in all battleground states I believe

I didn’t like the ads. Very vanilla and forgetful. Not hard hitting at all.

There was some story going around last night that Mitt had given up on MI and PA, but supposedly that story was debunked.
Interesting that those two states just happen not to appear in this list.

Watch for the PAC ads to do a lot of the hard hitting - like in the Republican primaries.

They need to hit HARD with those good adds. No mealy mouthed stuff, go straight for the jugular!

IA, NH good. But disappointed MI isnt on that list, or WI. Me too, but it makes sense. Grow a lead in IA, NH, OH, NV, NC and VA first (states Obama took in 08), then as THE ONE term president sinks, shore up WI, MI, PA and MN.
To: LS
BTW, carpet bombing PA, OH and MI on Obama’s position on coal would seem to be smart too.

North Carolina? I would’ve thought that was in the bag for Romney. Huh.

IA, NH good. But disappointed MI isnt on that list, or WI.I am hoping this is a rope-a-dope and one to exhaust not only Obama but DNC resources and then sweep in to WI and MI when the Unions have no more buy money for air-time and go for the jugular in the final hours.
Especially if they can drain all DNC donors so their is no money for the Senate races and Hoekstra and Mandel ride in on Mitt's Coat-Tails...

They’re catered to each market, and focus on the economy. They all aim to show contrast between 0bama’s failed policies and Romney’s offering.

Dunno. On the surface, perhaps, but given that Romney has led in 2 of 3 recent polls in both states, I doubt it. I think as Hapax says above, this is probably a tiered attack to ensure these states are locked up. The fact is, if Romney has VA, FL, OH, and just one of IA, CO, NH (I think) he wins.
It does seem clear that they are writing off NM.

OH is very much Romney's to lose. Can't say about the other states. I would assume the Romney campaign has done some customizing on a state by state basis.
After watching the primary campaign, I would say it is a very bad idea to underestimate the Romney brain trust this year. With two months to go, IMO they are following a definite game plan.

Mandel is running in Ohio, not MI or WI, but I appreciate the sentiment.

I doubt they’ve given up on them. Rasmussen shows Romney ahead in WI
