President Obama's post-convention poll bounce appears to be real. Some Romney supporters are worried, but he has two major advantages: An economy that continues to falter under Obama's watch and the ability to raise and spend money on campaign ads.

Don’t believe the press.
They want a tight race.
CSM isn’t Christian, they’re not scientific, and they don’t monitor anything.
here we go..........
How can they say the bounce seems to be real when it’s only been three hot days since the convention ended.
People just overlook a horrible economy and a healthcare bill they hate to vote for the magic man again?
okay
It, like the NYT, is good for lining bird cages, if your birds don’t mind the stink.
The “Poll” I use to see which way the mood of the country is going is the same one you use.
The Price of Gas and the number of vehicles on the road. I also use the Hotel/motel index. That one is my own by the way and it is simple to use. Just look at the parking lot of the various ones in your area. How full or empty are they?
How busy is it when you go to work or come home, (If you have a job that is)?
To me these are indicators that cannot be hidden. The Christmas season this year... Hmmm, well let’s see... Walmart had it’s Christmas sundries section open in July of this year. That’s way to early and is a direct indicator of desperateness in the retail market. Next let’s look at Toys, will the Toy section expand like it usually does after Halloween or will it stay close to the same?
And there are even more indicators of how the economy is really doing, all it takes is the willingness to open your eyes and see.
The best example of the problem with this election can be seen in the front yard of one of my neighbors. He is a pastor of a medium sized (400) congregation. He has a yard sign for a Republican congressional candidate, senate candidate and governor but nothing for president.
Yep... I am not buying this bounce.
There is a cult of personality in this country w Obama, don’t kid yourself. It’s crazy.
I have posted here many times all the reasons Romney was a poor choice, why he was Obama’s dream opponent, and why he was likely to lose.
Now is not the time to go over all that again.
Until November 7, I am Romney all the way, including closing out discussions like this one.
If he loses to Obama, there will be tremendous recriminations and hopefully (if there are meaningful elections in 2016) a new movement. Until then - GO MITT!
I think the issue is more like...we haven’t been given a choice that can force Obama to run on his record.
They are to concerned about positioning their big government solutions which are really just additional tweaks to the tyranny we are all facing every day.
So people aren’t really seeing a clear choice. A hard left progressive or a slightly less left progressive.
We have to wake up and understand exactly what the real problem is. The establishment has been screwing us for decades. People are just fed up.
Romney should be sailing ahead with a double digit lead right now, he had everyone unified before the convention but they have been systematically eroding that because just like any progressive they can’t resist the power.
This is a strategy by dems and the media to demoralize our side. The idea is to make that joke convention look successful and fake momemtum afterward.
Remember, less than a week ago the dems were bragging how they were going to fill BOA Stadium, instead they moved to the smaller venue.
The dems have been on display the past week and it will be up to the R/R team to regain the spotlight.
Another problem with elections anymore is if you don’t live in a key swing state, you can’t get an idea about how things are really going out there.
Tried that once...constipated the whole flock.
They lie like a rug. They depend on lies to make money. I wouldn't be surprised if this piece was written before the polls were taken or even before the convention wrapped.
We must be relentlessly focused. My fear is too many are not. They're still fighting old battles from the primary, or even before.
Yep. Up to $3.78 a gallon now in central Kansas.
The price is starting to hurt the ‘ole wallet.
Total BS.
Talk to me next week after the whole Libya thing plays out.
Mainstream media is trying the best to cover truth for Obama.
