Oh, so probably was drunk then.
Charles Pierce is an old Boston gas bag who used write for that old leftist rag The Boston Phoenix. Don’t stare at him as you walk by.
“Half the electorate already thinks he’s a fake, which means he’s not a very good one.”
Not nearly as accomplished at lying and being fake as Obama so that’s a good thing.
Those little indy rags churn out some of the strangest writers you’re ever likely to see.
This crowd won't get out of bed to vote unless driven this year. Most especially if they are led to believe that Obama has it in the bag... But Romney's problem is that twenty percent of his 47% are the 'unemployed' due to Obama's economics.
Liberals have spent the past 3+ years bashing the wealthy. Romney is their poster child. Truth never matters to liberals. Romney seems to be brain dead on what creates jobs and that it take place best outside of government bailouts and picking those too big to fail. People are hungry to hear about economic freedom and keeping elected official out of their businesses.
I believe a majority of American voters will recognize what Romney said as the truth. Good news!
I AGREE...he’s just speaking the truth but will be crucified for it.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how gay do you have to be to decipher this guys writing?
WELL, if you say you are voting for Opayme, you have to be concerned that you be seen by your fellow Americans’ as a TAKER.. The evidence could overwhelmingly be viewed as suspect at least.. BRILLIANT!
Isn’t it strange that the “news” media can come up with these manufactured “gotcha’” moments only on Repubs, but never Dems? Zero’s bitter clinger statement was reported and then quickly covered over with something else to get people’s attention (usually, it’s something crass about the Repub) and then forgotten (as much as possible).
Is Esquire so stylin’, that it’s homosexual?
That wasn’t a very smart thing to say at a fundraiser.
It sounds like he is apologizing for being about to lose.
Would you give money to a candidate that admits 47% of the vote is going to his opponent no matter what!?
What are the odds that Romney can get 94% or the remaining 53%? Pretty low.
Romney should have figured out how to reach some of the 47%, but instead he wrote them off. If he showed them a path to get the economy going and get them off of the public dole, he’d have a chance to reach some of those people. But instead he writes them off.

Just like Vanity Fair, all the “mens” health magazines, Details, Maxim, etc..
Good for romney - screw these parasites!!!!
Didn’t you say you’re not voting for him? If so, what do you care?
A pinko from Massachusetts, sports columnist/writer.
I’ll tell you. I read up on the 47 million or 47% earlier this year, to see who they are (wondering how do I get to pay no taxes?). Something like a third earn below $20k or $30k a year, most are lower middle class, and some thousands are actually millionaires. So most are either at poverty level or getting the benefit of deductions, I guess (I don’t know how a millionaire doesn’t pay any taxes). But it’s not true that those who don’t pay income taxes are necessarily on the public dole. He’ll be absolutely slammed on this, esp because of the tone he used (we just came out of a recession, with a lot of people plunging into poverty), and he was wrong on the facts. You don’t win the Presidency by disparaging half of the citizens. Things just keep getting worse. Maybe the debates will help.
I would be surprised if 47% of the 47% even bother going to the polls.
