While we’re being elitist snobs here, there’s another thing that torques me down tight! And that’s when people attempt to illustrate a dissimilarity between one object vs. another by saying it’s “different THAN.”
Nothing or noone can be DIFFERENT THAN something or someone else!
It or they can be BIGGER than, SMARTER than, PRETTIER than or RICHER THAN. But they cannot be DIFFERENT THAN! They can only be different FROM something or someone else.
So there! Sniff!

I’m 6’2”, and I don’t consider either to be tall enough to be particularly described as tall in modern America.... Just not short.
Maybe it is just a matter of perspective though. If I was some runty little third-worlder, I might consider it to be gigantic.
