Truthfully, the second I heard Christie’s over-the-top praise of Obama, I thought it was an intentional f-bomb to Romney, almost like he was waiting for the moment. Actually, Christie did nothing to advance Romney at the convention either. Something prior to that has happened and I think it was a big fat VP rejection. (No pun intended)

by all accounts, Elvis was a druggie too, yet he's treated like a god in some areas....

I think Christie is genuinely and profoundly affected by the hurricane...some people become more emotional than others...

it doesn't matter one iota....

let Christie be Christie....if he feels he has to hob nob with the chief rat to get better treatment for his people, so be it....

politics is 100% you kiss my backside and I'll kiss yours...doubly important to bamey boy...

THis is absurd. I doubt Romney’s team is upset. Christie is a republican governor of a state that was devastated by a hurricane.

If Christie left his state to go to a Romney campaign event, EVERY national news story would be about how Romney/Christie were abandoning suffering people for politics.

There is no way a Christie appearance at a campaign event would NOT be used by the media as an attack on Romney.

Christie is being used by the left (due to how he responded to Obama).

I saw a lib political operative say on O’Reilly tonight how Christie can cross the aisle but that she did not see Romney ever doing the same so vote for OBama, the peace maker.

So they have their talking points, thanks to fat boy.

Very true. Christie takes a lot of media grief and handles
it well. But if he leaves his post now he will regret it later.
Smart move for him if it is true. He is not needed anyway.

“Christie lost me when he lowered the flag to half staff for the singin’ druggie...How dare he....”

You’re not alone on that one, believe me.

20 minutes from his office in Trenton? At night? I don’t believe that for a second.

“I am really disappointed in Christie.”

I’m not. Christie is and has always been a RINO. Nothing has changed.

Amazing, still, that people label Chris Christie as a “Conservative”.

and in this case it will cost him a larger, national political career. This combined with the beta male picture following Obama around like the unpopular fat kid in grade school cost him his political life and sucked away all political capitol he had built up. The ocean washed away more than the NJ shore it seems. Swept his future right out from under him.

I’m not. Christie is doing what he was elected todo. Christie is the best Governor NJ has had and he’s doing what he was elected, by people like me, to do.

The people who are “disappointed in Christie” are people who didn’t support him initially.
