Could Sarah Palin Enter The 2016 Presidential Race?
Freedom Outpost ^ | November 29, 2012 | Kevin Fobbs

Posted on 11/29/2012 10:34:12 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

The presidential campaign of 2016 was launched as soon as the last light dimmed on the stage after Mitt Romney gave his concession speech, in losing his presidential bid to Barack Obama. With the new battle now warming up amongst the GOP hierarchy there are many Republican leaders who want to point the party leftward, away from Ronald Reagan and his heir apparent Sarah Palin.

That is correct. There is no stuttering here. Sarah Palin may appear to liberals and leftwing pundits, as well as, GOP Washington leaders as yesterday’s news. Yet Mitt Romney’s loss was not due to conservative steel in his campaign. What is clear is that nearly two million conservatives did not embrace Romney’s attempt to skedaddle to the middle road by running away from conservative positions and values. They simply stayed home.

Consider the results of Palin’s steadfast 2012 primary season effort as she crisscrossed the nation campaigning on behalf of conservative congressional, senatorial officials. The results of Palin’s efforts are notable, beginning with backing Texas U.S. Senator-elect Ted Cruz. Combine that with eight congressional candidates being elected to congress out of 14, due to Palin’s endorsement.

Now examine Romney’s results. In a general election where Republicans were expected to be more competitive in U.S. Senate races, Republicans actually lost two U.S. Senate seats. There are many who have engaged in a lot of finger pointing in order to place blame for the loss, but the buck does stop at the top with Mitt Romney...

well, it would be nice if she would get more experience...in another 4 years, that will be nearly 7-1/2
years since she quit being Governor of Alaksa. Does she really have enough qualifications?

Not if the RNC has anything to do with it. I believe she’s been told and the reason is she’ll call out the corruption on both sides of the aisle - in fact already has and this has earned her the animosity of the ruling class.

Spot on analysis. Obama is part of the toxic admix of big government and big business. It's 21st century fascism. Think how with the economic meltdown, Obama and the Fed threw money to the banks; not the defaulted mortgage holders. Now, with Obamacare, he's throwing billions at big insurance companies by forcing everyone to buy health insurance. It is all just too cozy an arrangement to have a real reformer like Palin come in and break up the insider game of the ruling elites.

If there is a 2016 Presidental election, it will surprise the hell out of me. Incase you missed it, the Democrat Party perfected the method to steal elections in 2012. From this point on, the only Republicans elected will be the ones approved by the Democrat Party.

While Governor Palin is a great conservative, and was more qualified than Zero at doing anything, the Republicans must put forward an experienced, serious candidate. Agree that a couple of years as Governor of Alaska doesn’t cut it. She’s made the money, time to do serious work again. Reagan was Governor of California for 8 years after his acting career. While Governor, he spoke at a YMCA youth model legislature I attended - urged us to get substantial real world experience before public service through elected offices. The presidency is the ultimate - and requires more than she currently has. Endorsing like minded candidates is no substitute for actual leadership in running a state or effectively legislating in Congress.

“I just no longer know.” - Applies to a lot of us is my guess. - My current conclusion, for what it’s worth, is that the governments of man are overall CORRUPT. . and, yes, I do believe the Almighty has a solution for that, one that is closer than we think. . at hand . . ‘til then we just have to trudge along as best we can.

A similar pattern to 2008 and 2012 is already developing.

Hinters on the conservative side: Santorum, DeMint, Paul, Rubio.

Hinters from the GOPe side: Jeb Bush

Some 15 others have indicated some interest.

==

GOPe Goal: Keep at least 2-4 strong conservatives in to cancel each other out, thus giving Jeb the win!!!!!!

Jeb the winner — in the primaries; Jeb the loser in the general. The Bush name is TOXIC. Even in the 2016 exit polls, around 54% are still blaming the bad economy on Bush.

Will there even be an election in 2016—or will it be a Democrat selection as it was this time? Lets see who the GOP can nominate that will ensure a Van Jones Victory? David Duke? Jeb Bush? How about Romney again? Sarah Palin has become such a joke to the Liberal/Democrats that her selection would mean another %5 Victory for the Progressives. They will put up a cool, black woman, who is good on TV—or run Obama for a 3rd Term after he “saves” the nation. He can —at will change the constitutional amendment—by decree and his supreame Court will rubber stamp it as it did Obama care. I have lost faith in the GOP—they exist as a Straw Man to lose to the Left.

Perhaps at the head of the Tea Party ticket if we finally get smart and kick the GOP to the curb.

I agree with everything you wrote.

My opinion is, a campaign takes longer than one thinks. Palin should mention she’s thinking about it, which will allow her to start getting things together.

And that will likewise, get those of us on the sidelines, enthused.

How about it Sarah? You had four years now with your family. That is wonderful and (everyone) understands your reasons for standing down last time.

But seriously.

Now is the time.

As much as I admire SP and would love to see her run, she needs to rehabilitate her image and overcome the 'quitter' label that came as a result of her being railroaded out of the AK gov's office by phony ethics complaints.

Sarah Palin for US Senate 2014! Take back the Ted Stevens seat!

Mrs. Palin COULD enter the 2016 race all day long, but she won’t win. It is time for new blood!

I really wish Palin would have ran for the Senate. Perhaps it is not too late.

Palin knows if she were to run & lose, it would severely impact her reality TV shows, book sales, pundit/commentator money, speaking fees/requests, etc.

That is why she did not run in 2012 & that's why she won't run in 2016.

Palin is nearly over-qualified to be US president. Have a look:

Sarah Palin is as (or even more) qualified to be president than anyone we currently have on our bench:

There it is ... passive aggressive behavior. Undermine her every chance they get.

Sarah Palin is brave, unafraid and proud of America. She is great, the medias and her own party undercut her regularly.

Republicans have this idea that it is more important to let the next man in line have his turn at running than it is to win. STUPID way to lose over and over. Bush W was not in the line up very long.

Sarah has been loyal to McCain when his team deliberately kept her under wraps, she was effective and they side tracked her.

My opinion is she was all set to run last year and she was steam rolled by the media and her own party!!! unbelievably so. Attacked at every turn. There is a level at which it is wise to realize the odds are against her from the start. My opinion they were scared of her ... BIG TIME!

She has my vote based on what I know about her. I have a cousin living in Anchorage, He consistently says she is the real deal, ... he was raised in Oklahoma and has been in Alaska for 30 years or more. He had an airport in Anchorage for a number of years. and worked for FFA in Oklahoma city at Tinker Air force base and was a flight inspector (sorry I forgot his title). He appraised the performance on various flights, as to the keeping necessary procedures, etc.. Retired now.

God help us to be a nation that loves Thee and worships Thee and serves Thee, in Jesus name. Let not evil prevail in Americas government which is acting against the peoples. Remove them or change their minds. We must be free to be Christian and speak freely about Thee. Help us LORD we pray. We thank Thee for Thy forgiveness, grace and mercy and loving kindness. Amen.

Yeah Sarah Palin!
