Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) says Republicans are making cuts in women and infant programs that is "taking food out of the mouths of babies."
"..... $600 million of cuts to community health centers. $500 million in cuts to the women, infant and children nutrition program. That's talking about taking food out of the mouths of babies," Schakowsky said at a press event held by House Democrats on Tuesday.

Every cash welfare-type programs should be eliminated, including the EBT's, and anyone caught buying welfare benefits from recipients, or exchanges for other-than what they are intended for, should be prosecuted. Likewise, random drug testing for ALL handout programs should be mandatory, and if you're caught in a drug test as positive, you lose ALL benefits for a minimum of 3 years.

— Did or did not the various stimulus packages and $1 trillion annual deficits increase federal spending on food programs by more than $500 million? Like a one-way ratchet, any attempt to reduce a “one-time” increase back to its baseline level is not only impossible, but evil: “taking food out of the mouths of children.” Disgusting.
