According to Politico, “a political colonoscopy is going on before our eyes.” Yuck. Karl Rove has set up a Super PAC to keep controversial conservatives from winning Republican primaries and the Senate leadership has established a “buddy system” to keep Tea Party congressmen in line (“buddy” as in “you should probably vote the way we tell you to, buddy…”). But the most important changes are taking place at Fox where heavyweights Sarah Palin and Dick Morris are out as contributors. A lot of this is post-election house clearing (CNN has moved staff around, too) but it also suggests that the GOP establishment is blaming the 2012 election loss on the Tea Party and the impolite Right.
Is its assessment correct? Yes and no. “Yes” in the sense that the outspoken weirdness of some Tea Party candidates shifted the balance of the Senate in the Democratic Party’s favour and “yes” in that they allowed Obama to play the culture war card so brilliantly against Mitt Romney. The margin of the 2012 election was decided by gender, race and age – and while the GOP did well with its old white guy base, Tea Party radicalism helped Obama to build a winning advantage among “everyone else”. And so moderates are now conspiring to silence the conservatives.
But, in defence of conservatives, the Republican Party did not actually run a Tea Party candidate in 2012. It ran a moderate from Massachusetts with a record of inventing Obamacare and supporting legalised abortion. Romney might have u-turned on all those positions, but the idea that the Tea Party hijacked the GOP nomination in 2012 is simply absurd...

Our media (including Fox) is despicable. Obama was AWOL for Benghazi - imagine if that had been Bush? We need a grass roots media to get the message out and Fox's rehiring of Rove proves it is not it.
I support the Tea Party. In the last year I don’t think I have watched more than 30 minutes of fox news, to many hand wringers. I find other ways of getting my news.

Conservatives haven’t demanded any better. Plus, we need much better organization and involvement in party politics. Other than the uptick in participation in the 2010 elections, conservatives just won’t put in the time and work needed to really change things.
I’m 81, I go back as an active Republican campaigner to before Nixon and then to Goldwater/Reagan .While I have a website I’ve been using FR’s as my blog. I retired after Reagan won and moved out of state but before that I ran successful campaigns for state and local legislative offices in the1960s to 1983. . In the Reagan campaigns assisted the state chair in developing campaign pieces for Reagan’s successful bid both in the primary and the general elections where I’ve been told by the late John L Waner* some of my stuff is in the Reagan library. First of all guys like Rove and others ignored the mechanics of basic campaigning. They allowed the M.ainline S.ocialist M.edia drive the issues and are still doing so they learned nothing from their disasters.I find it inexcuseable for Rove to allow his boss GWB get continuosly trashed without responding.
These people I call them GOPES because it rhymes with dopes right now are falling into the same trap. Now the GOPES are buying into the “demographic” argument offered by the MSM. Here you have an issue staring at them straight in the face affecting every man,woman,and child of every skin color and you can’t bring it up and they talk about “demographics” being pushed by the socialist media .
They should be decrying the philosphy of “demographics” by stating they’re Americans first not Afro-Americans. not Hispanic-Americans and not-Asian-Americans, or “White”-Americans. Middle-of-the-road guys like me that believe that there should be NO Federal borrowing, “selling” of US Bonds, or anything else that causes the damned Federal Government to live beyond its means, are wasting our time reasoning with Liberals.

Let us consider that the GOP is a football team. One of the Assistant Coaches is Karl Rove. Karl’s strong suit is the Buckley Rule: “Support your team mates if : 1) They are athletes that you like, and 2.) If you think they can win the next game.”
[Note: the real Buckley Rule is: “ Support the most Conservative candidate, who can be elected. In the last election the GOP followed the Buckley Rule to the letter and chose Socialist, Father of Romney”care,” never-attack-your-opponent, wussy, Mitter-or-Mutter Romney.]
Back to GOP Football. Ass. Coach Rove picks out his choices for the O-Line, and to a man they agree that there is no sense playing any game this season because there is no way that they can win the Football Game. The Opposition has just to many bad things to say and print in their news shows and newspapers, well -— - - - it is just to hard!
The sponsors, (you and me), of this GOP Team are tired of the self-defeating Buckley Rule, and want the rule and Ass. Coach Rove sent back to the locker room where the trainers can work some sense in Rove.
Quarterback Boehner does not like some players, and has already sent 3 of them to warm up the bench. Q. Boehner is driven to tears fearing that Middle Line Backer Reid knows all of Boehner’s passing routes. Reid’s team does not play fair! Boo-hoo!
Earlier this year in the Sequester Bowl, Q. Boehner clutched up and called to many time outs that his team had negative yardage due to delay of game penalties.
Quarterback Boehner is still convinced that the upcoming Debt Ceiling Superbowl cannot be won due to statements of smug victory in the Puppet Liberal Agenda Media by Coach Obama and Middle Line Backer Reid.
Quarterback Boehner is considering polling the solid RINOs on his team to find out whether or not they can beat Reid and Obama.
Right now it looks like the RINO team members are leaning toward postponing the Debt Ceiling Superbowl until Reid and Obama start to say nice things about them.
Coach Obama’s outgoing Waterboy Timmy Geihtner, has assured his replacement that RINOs on a team make it easy to manipulate them.
Geihtner claims that all you have to do is hold a Puppet Press Conference and just say “NO!”

The result is that only 3 people are needed to manage the US Federal Government: Senate, House and White House Leaders. Currently that is Reid, Boehner and Jarrett, respectively.
Hence, the RINOs have insured that the US Federal Government will not be good for America.
The RINOs have made it very easy for the Democrats to grind America to a halt.
By rejecting the RINOs’ Buckley Rule, the GOP will open the Party to Candidates that are good for the Party.

This national crisis of the economy, healthcare, religious liberty, illegal immigration, military hollowing-out, fall of the dollar, joblessness, etc., can not be tackled, re-routed, reversed, even slowed, and certainly not stopped until Americans take back not the damn government, but the public schools, the NEA, and the union, all of which for 50 years at least, have been marked out as the pathway for Marxist-communist influence and take-over.
The job is done. Not a single conservative player has noticed that fact. Not one. No agenda of theirs ever addresses the local public schools, and universities.
This is why and how Obamacare has been allowed to arise and will so entangle itself in our system that it will emerge as an imitation of our public school system, acceptable and catastrophic at the same time.
Our future is so crystal clear and futile that we can take bets on it, if we don’t take back our schools and start soon.

The Tea Party protestors came out to protest socialized medicine which violates the division of powers and other violations of the constitution since the patriot act became law.
The media spokespeople boiled that down to ‘cut social security.” As a result, the Tea Party people did not hear themselves in what was being said in their name.
Re-organizing at the grass roots with a clearer and popular constitutional mission, is what we need. Constitutional freedom unites patriots in both parties against the limo liberals in both parties.
That’s my take on the status of the Tea Party here.
Karl Rove’s ideas have failed, white board and all.
Karl has dug his Buckley Rule defeatist hole, and only knows how to dig it deeper.
It is time for us to reject the Buckley Rule and Karl Rove.
Plus massive voter fraud.
