The TEA Party does not need Fox News Channel, it didn’t before.

This is not Rove acting on his own. No doubt there’s involvement from the other asshats in DC.

I wonder how Karl Rove makes his money?

I understand the elections of 2006 and 2008 as people being tired of the Iraq war and tired of republicans who controlled the presidency for 8 years, the house of reps for 12 years and the senate for 5 years.

I understand the 2010 election as real anger about healthcare.

I don’t understand the 2012 results. In a state that romney carried by 10, Mourdock (a decent candidate) lost on some very benign comments. I don’t understand a decent candidate like Scott Brown losing to a liar and a left wing nut like Warren. I don’t understand Heitkamp beating Berg. I don’t understand how a center right, decent guy like Romney loses to Obama. I don’t get how Montana can reelect a democrat and our candidate was solid.

The only thing I do understand is Akin getting beat.

I doubt this little priss cares anything about the Tea Party, but I bet he knows all about the area of colonososcopies.

I agree with some of it. The balance of power in the senate was shifted toward the Democrats by a couple politically inept conservative candidates. However, the “Tea Party candidates” were not solely responsible for losing the senate. Fact is, several moderate nominees lost, too.

In regards to the culture war, I think the inept conservative candidates did indeed give Obama ammo that he used against Romney. I can’t say whether that resulted in a significant change in the election results.

The author is certainly correct in his assessment that Romney was not a conservative by a long shot. We ran a squishy moderate (again) and found that only so many people will drag themselves to the polls to vote for someone they don’t like (and don’t trust) to stop someone else they like even less.

FOX had better watch out.. they are slowly becoming UNwatchable..
I used to believe much of their programming.. as principled..
But its beginning to look like platitudes.. and rhetoric..

I live in a mostly republican area.. and many are becoming “indies”.. or something else..
A/The Tea Party Caucus is spreading.. partys may becoming obsolete..
Many are noting the white stripe down ROVE’s back.. and the YELLOW on his tummy..

Tea Party was not the reason for failure. Weak candidates and liberal agenda is loser recipe.

The latest pandering to Hispanics via Illegal Alien Amnesty means more years of losses.....extending to House seats.

As for Karl Rove......look for George Soros hanging arouind. Rove is going to kill the GOP via overspending on campaigns

Fox News needs to fire Rove before their ratings crater

The Tea Party needs an “enemy at the gate” (Machiavelli) .. It also needs to pick a target (The Alinsky Tactics – Rule 13 – Pick the Target, Freeze it, polarize it...). Karl Rove is tailor made if the Tea Party gets smart. Listen to Levin’s podcast for Feb 4th...Rove is mostly “myth”... Has engineered more losers than winners...he is a perfect target because he is touted, but is nothing but hot air and his record, outlined in detail by Levin, proves it.

Rove has successfully isolated himself. The left already hates him, now the right hates him. All that is left is the squishy middle, with candidates like McCain and Romney. How has that worked for us?

Our media (including Fox) is despicable. Obama was AWOL for Benghazi - imagine if that had been Bush? We need a grass roots media to get the message out and Fox's rehiring of Rove proves it is not it.

I support the Tea Party. In the last year I don’t think I have watched more than 30 minutes of fox news, to many hand wringers. I find other ways of getting my news.

Geraldo, Juan Williams, Kristol, Beckel, Kucinich, Scott Brown (coming). Bottom line, not worth watching anymore.

Cable news is so last century.
Gave up on Fox years ago.
O’Reilly is a despicable and UNINFORMED human being. Hannity is an UNINFORMED bumbling doofus.

Did you all read the bit about Obama’s use of modern media and Data mining/Analytics to get out the vote?

The world has turned. Advertising on Old TV is not the answer. Joe Scarborough’s “Conservatism” is not the answer.

Individual activists (Patriots!) having connections with 100 people who will vote is the answer. Imagaine if everyone you knew, and everyone they knew cast their votes in the last election . . . now THAT would be a different world.

The Liberal Agenda Media loves nothing more than to demonize debate on viewpoints that are different from theirs.

The maturity level of a Liberal is that of a teenager, Ben Stein calls it “Juvenile.”

Middle-of-the-road guys like me that believe that there should be NO Federal borrowing, “selling” of US Bonds, or anything else that causes the damned Federal Government to live beyond its means, are wasting our time reasoning with Liberals.

While the Liberals couch all of our reasoned discussions as “wedge” issues that will splinter the GOP, we need to continue to focus on where WE as the GOP has gone onto the wrong track.

Let us consider that the GOP is a football team. One of the Assistant Coaches is Karl Rove. Karl’s strong suit is the Buckley Rule: “Support your team mates if : 1) They are athletes that you like, and 2.) If you think they can win the next game.”

[Note: the real Buckley Rule is: “ Support the most Conservative candidate, who can be elected. In the last election the GOP followed the Buckley Rule to the letter and chose Socialist, Father of Romney”care,” never-attack-your-opponent, wussy, Mitter-or-Mutter Romney.]

Back to GOP Football. Ass. Coach Rove picks out his choices for the O-Line, and to a man they agree that there is no sense playing any game this season because there is no way that they can win the Football Game. The Opposition has just to many bad things to say and print in their news shows and newspapers, well -— - - - it is just to hard!

The sponsors, (you and me), of this GOP Team are tired of the self-defeating Buckley Rule, and want the rule and Ass. Coach Rove sent back to the locker room where the trainers can work some sense in Rove.

Quarterback Boehner does not like some players, and has already sent 3 of them to warm up the bench. Q. Boehner is driven to tears fearing that Middle Line Backer Reid knows all of Boehner’s passing routes. Reid’s team does not play fair! Boo-hoo!

Earlier this year in the Sequester Bowl, Q. Boehner clutched up and called to many time outs that his team had negative yardage due to delay of game penalties.

Quarterback Boehner is still convinced that the upcoming Debt Ceiling Superbowl cannot be won due to statements of smug victory in the Puppet Liberal Agenda Media by Coach Obama and Middle Line Backer Reid.

Quarterback Boehner is considering polling the solid RINOs on his team to find out whether or not they can beat Reid and Obama.

Right now it looks like the RINO team members are leaning toward postponing the Debt Ceiling Superbowl until Reid and Obama start to say nice things about them.

Coach Obama’s outgoing Waterboy Timmy Geihtner, has assured his replacement that RINOs on a team make it easy to manipulate them.

Geihtner claims that all you have to do is hold a Puppet Press Conference and just say “NO!”

From the original source:
Fox need a conservative competitor, right now.
Rush, it's time you bought a T.V. Channel, and let Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and others of your choosing run it.
But don't use Bill O'Reilly, because that RINO would destroy it.

The Tea Party protestors came out to protest socialized medicine which violates the division of powers and other violations of the constitution since the patriot act became law.

The media spokespeople boiled that down to ‘cut social security.” As a result, the Tea Party people did not hear themselves in what was being said in their name.

Re-organizing at the grass roots with a clearer and popular constitutional mission, is what we need. Constitutional freedom unites patriots in both parties against the limo liberals in both parties.

That’s my take on the status of the Tea Party here.

Exactly what and who IS the “Tea Party?” There are dozens of organizations that cropped up in the Fall of ‘09 using the term “Tea Party” yet I’m not sure which are authentic. Who are the leaders of the Tea Party?

To me the Tea Party is more loosely connected individual citizens who opposed the outrageous growth of government, specifically Obamacare. Yet there’s no real structure or organization that demonstrates a viable political party (i.e., one that actually runs candidates for office vs. a movement affecting the outcomes of one party’s primaries).

I went to the 9/12/09 March on DC, to the “Kill Bill” march on the Capitol, and to the Beck/Palin affair at the Lincoln Memorial. I’ve yet to be asked to join any “Tea Party” nor have I been polled by anyone claiming to be the “Tea Party” about which candidate(s) I might support. WHO is endorsing candidates as the “Tea Party?” How does Rove know who to oppose? It’s all way too nebulous and rudderless IMO.

Do these people read what they write? Obama was able to play the culture war card against Romney because of the Tea Party? Wha? Isn’t it more likely because he’s a rich white guy with a weird religion? Anyway, the fact that Romney stepped in it time and again along with the fact that he is an establishment guy and definitely NOT a Tea Partier demonstrates the opposite, if anything.

I don’t see any proof Dems kept the senate and White House because of victory in the culture war. Some Pubs absolutely lost because of it, or rather because of stupid things they said which just so happened to concern “social issues,” but some of them were establishment types. I’ve noticed an odd trend whereby anytime any Pub gets pilloried in the MSM, often through their own fault, suddenly they become Tea Partiers, no matter their history. The “outside the mainstream,” mainstream being defined as whatever libs believe, game is old hat. What’s new is that nowadays on top of being outside the mainstream just for being a Pub you are also automatically a Tea Partier.

Look who had the most “social issue” trouble in the nomination sweepstakes, post-Bachmann (who, being female, of course gets at least twice the torment): Santorum. He’s forever been a favorite target of gays, gay fellow travellers, and people freaked out by religion in general. But before he was an evil Pub, like the rest only a bit worse. Would you know from last year whether he was an establishment figure, or would he be one of those wacky, fringe Tea Partiers.

The easiest way to retain power is to paint anyone who wants to take it from you as unworthy, for their stupidity, craziness, evilness, etc. What gets to me is, okay, let’s say Palin is stupid. You ever listen to Joe Biden? They make fun of him with us, fine. But is there any of the pure horror at the prospect of Palin being near power? Do we question what Biden is doing in Washington at all, let alone first in line of succession? It’s decades he’s been there in positions of responsibility. Why won earth? Have you ever listened to Nancy Pelosi? Ever listened, I mean really listened, to even a genuinely smart guy like Newt? These people have no idea what they’re doing.
