Maher: GOP Didn’t Suddenly Go ‘Off Rails,’ Always Been Weird Mix Of ‘Jesus Freaks’ & ‘Plutocrats’
Mediaite ^ | February 16, 2013 | Josh Feldman

Bill Maher tonight looked at the recent attempts to moderate the GOP and draw the party away from strongly conservative candidates like Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock. However, Maher couldn’t help but point out that in spite of conventional wisdom, that the Republican party only just recently went “off the rails,” he said the party has always been an “uneasy marriage” between “Jesus freaks” and “plutocrats.”

Maher highlighted a new group set up by Karl Rove trying to help conservatives who can actually win elections and keeping some of the more wild “batsh*t” out of general elections. Jon Meacham noted it as a stunning moment that “Karl Rove has become the moderate establishment.”

Donna Brazile said that there are still Republicans talking in such outlandish terms about social issues, pointing out that on the day of his State of the Union response, Marco Rubio voted against the Violence Against Women Act. Maher disputed the idea that the Republican party only recently went “off the rails” because of social issues, but for decades the party has been an “uneasy marriage” between “Jesus freaks’ and “plutocrats.”

The Daily Caller’s Jamie Weinstein argued that Obama has been consistently demonizing millionaires and billionaires, to which Meacham challenged his assertion. Bill Maher brought up Obama coming out for a higher minimum wage, saying that corporations should stop complaining about having to raise prices and just do it, because no one’s going to care if their arugula salad is a dollar or two more expensive...

Bill Maher is a libertarian, he of course is anti-conservative, and anti-God.

True Americans have always been ‘Jesus freaks.’ Until the godless communist liberals started taking over anyway.

Sure he is a libertarian then why is he so hell bent on telling people what to do what to think as long as it is the way he acts and thinks. isn’t that the opposite of being a libertarian. He is a freaking communist if you ask me.

When the general population has freedom of speech a certain number of obnoxious individuals will share their thoughts about how society should be conducted in deeply obnoxious ways.

Unfortunately, these are exactly the sort of people rewarded with television shows.

Oh, God no, Bill Maher is libertarian, a good one.

He believes in freedom and liberty, he supports the libertarian agenda of-Throw open the borders completely; only a rare individual (terrorist, disease carrier etc.) can be kept from freedom of movement through “political boundaries”.

Homosexuals; total freedom in the military, gay marriage, adoption, child custody and everything else.

Abortion; zero restrictions or impediments.

Pornography; no restraint, no restrictions.

Drugs; Meth, Heroin, Crack, and anything new that science can come up with, zero restrictions.

Advertising those drugs, prostitution, and pornography; zero restrictions.

Military Strength; minimal capabilities.

The problem with the left and libertarians, is that for 50 years, they have been winning the battle to tell America how society SHOULD NOT BE CONDUCTED.

From Edward R. Murrow to this in less than five decades.

Edward R. Murrow was a Communist. And his "Boys" were likewise -- from Charles Collingwood, Eric Sevareid to Dick Hottelet were fifth columnists. Murrow was pals with the truly evil Don Hollenbeck, who committed suicide because of his red activities. Senator Joe McCarthy nailed Murrow, Friendly and that bunch who were undermining America, all endorsed by the Russian-descended Bill Paley who ran the Communist Broadcasting System, CBS.

Actually Bill Maher would have been just the kind of type embraced by the despicable Edward R. Murrow, a genuinely evil man who unfortunately enjoys an undesired reputation as a good American. Suffice it to say that Murrow and Cronkite are spending eternity together roasting with the likes of Hitler, Bin Laden, Franklin Roosevelt and, of course Ted Kennedy.

You people: Bill Maher is an asshole who enjoys the notoriety he gets when he pukes out his ignorant spume.

He is no more than the dog doo lying in your yard that you have to avoid stepping in.

If he were ignored he would go away.

If anyone would know about an odd combination of “freak” with an attitude of utter entitlement, it’d be Bill Maher. According to some he likes to “date” black transsexuals and beat them up.

As an example, the below from comedian Wayne Brady, warning, offensive language:

http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/328154

Racist, sexist, homophobe, quite the little ball of confusion he is. But, he makes his living ranting against it on television.

There’s a word for that.

Bill Maher, as such, is irrelevant.

What’s important about this story is how free the enemy has become about spreading hatred for Republicans as a group. This is part of a program, it’s progressive, it’s dangerous, and based on any honest reading of history since 1792, it will end in a bloodbath.

This is everywhere now, in movies, on television, in standup comedy. It’s the popular version of the high-level disrespect being played out by the community-organizer in chief.

Obama’s ostentatious disdain for even the most polite and respectful opposition from the pathetic GOP “leaders” in Washington gives permission for all sorts of acting out away from the center of government.

This is not going to end well.

Maher is a typical lying Leftist misogynist control freak that thinks that the view from the inside of his sphincter is the same as of the whole world.

He is a sexual and drug libertine rather than a libertarian. His type have no problem with telling me how to live and that my labor and property belong to the government rather than to myself.

Yep. Does this fool think "Jesus freak" is an insult? I gladly admit to being one.
