Why don’t they just give them all a cot and let them live at the school. Orphanages for all.

If they are going to feed the kids at school, then they just need totally eliminate all food stamps and EBT cards for families who have children.

Huey Long had the same sentiment, but with a whole lot more style.

I paid to send my kids to the worn-out fifty year old parochial school, right next to the brand new state of the art public school.
I drove my kids to school through the caravans of school busses picking up and dropping off the public school kids.
When I was a kid, going to the parish school, I thought that we must be the fortunate ones to be able to go to a private school. We wore uniforms with ties, and the girls had skirts. The public school kids wore tee shirts and jeans.
I wonder what my kids think now, as we look the less fortunate.

Feeding programs? Moooo...

Just get them a harness for their feed bags and a sack of non-ethanol goobermint corn and they can graze all day long.

But WAIT! Pass the bill now and we’ll include midnight snacks for only $200,000,000,000 more!

“feeding programs.”

Sounds like what my grandfather had for his cattle.

What about the “warm milk and cookies” at bedtime? Who’s handling that?

They bus the kids back to school on weekends and holidays? Or is it a ‘meals on wheels’-type program?
Recall in the novel ‘Animal Farm’, one of the first things the pigs did upon seizing power was to take custody of the litter of puppies.

One thing is certain — the GOP will have a hard time competing with the RATS for votes.

...this is what’s next. Year round meals. This is how dems get what they want. By starting out slowly and convincing “low info voters” that it’s common sense.

IF PARENTS CAN’T FEED THEIR CHILD, THEN THAT CHILD NEEDS TO BE TAKEN AWAY FROM THEM!!! It’s the most BASIC of all things.
