Turncoats Revealed in Gun Control Vote
Right Wing Patriot ^ | 04/12/2013 | Jeff Francis

Posted on 04/12/2013 3:30:17 PM PDT by TSA-Watch

The assault on the second amendment of the Constitution continues. Yesterday, the US Senate voted 61-38 to have the latest gun control bill move forward for debate on the final package. Democrats easily managed to get over the 60 vote threshold to stave off a conservative filibuster by having 16 Republicans cross the aisle and violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution.

Remember these names:

Lamar Alexander (Tenn.) Kelly Ayotte (N.H.) Richard Burr (N.C.) Saxby Chambliss (Ga.) Tom Coburn (Okla.) Susan Collins (Maine) Bob Corker (Tenn.) Jeff Flake (Ariz.) Lindsey Graham (S.C.) Dean Heller (Nev.) John Hoeven (N.D.) Johnny Isakson (Ga.) Mark Kirk (Ill.) John McCain (Ariz.) Pat Toomey (Pa.) Roger Wicker (Miss.)

These turncoats need to be tossed out of office. As a country, we can no longer tolerate those who seek to water down or eliminate our rights guaranteed to every American citizen. As conservatives, we have to make sure that we primary all republican politicians who do not adhere to conservative American principles. Hopefully, this awful legislation won’t pass the House, but John Boehner let slip that he doesn’t need GOP support to pass the law. When he realized his slip, he backtracked, but Boehner has caved before.

As any sane person knows, you can never be totally free from danger. You can never get rid of the madman who is intent on wreaking harm to others and himself. Your best defense is the ability to defend yourself, and others, from harm. The vast majority of law enforcement in this country regularly testify to this fact.

Just consider that all these mass killings take place in one specific type of area: gun-free zones. These psychos know that there’s no one to stop them from going on a killing spree. The only thing that brings a halt to the violence is somebody else with a gun shows up. The crazed killer is either shot or he ends his own life not wanting to face an armed person who can deal with him.

The current gun control law does nothing to stop criminals from using guns. I love how they left lies and says that registration doesn't lead to confiscation. That same lie was used in Canada. Guess what happened? After registering legal firearms, laws were later passed to confiscate them. Weird, huh? We need to link up background checks to mental health registries, actually punish those who attempt to illegally get a firearm, and sentence violent criminals to lengthy prison sentences and make them serve their time. Liberals never seem to cotton on to the fact that only law-abiding citizens obey the law. Criminals don't. It's that damn simple.

Some of the names don’t surprise me, but I was surprised at Tom Coburn.

Lamar Alexander. Who was the woman going up against him in the next primary?

Also don’t forget Saxby Chambliss. Once he had a spine, but the last 8 or 9 years he has been just another waste of DNA.

POLITICIAN

A four letter word spelled with ten letters.

Those that agree with you today will damn you tomorrow.

They are ALL worthless.

Chambliss is retiring. Good riddance.
Isakson isn’t up for re-election until 2016. Hope gun owners can keep their mad on until then.

Burr (R-NC), that would be RINO-NC, was to be a part of the filibuster and then he voted against. This is suppose to be the best NC has. God help us!

The big surprise for me was Pat Toomey. Especially after he suffered Rick Santorum’s backstab on behalf of the GOPe trying to protect RINO Arlen Specter in the primaries. Toomey of all people should know he his friends are.

This bill is worse than a ban on some specific models or types of guns. It trashes the 4th Amend., the 5th Amend. and the 10th Amend. as well as the 2nd Amend.

The Toomey-Manchin Kill The Bill of Rights Bill.

TITLE ONE: GETTING ALL THE NAMES OF PROHIBITED PURCHASERS INTO THE BACKGROUND CHECK SYSTEM

Summary of Title I: This section improves background checks for firearms by strengthening the instant check system.

- Encourage states to provide all their available records to NICS by restricting federal funds to states who do not comply.

By "all their available records" just what records are they blackmailing states for with that statist bilge water? "All" is a pretty big word when only a very few records are applicable to denying someone their right to keep and bear arms.

- Allow dealers to voluntarily use the NICS database to run background checks on their prospective employees.

Does that means dealers can run NICS checks on prospective employees without their knowledge or consent? I have no idea what the word 'voluntarily' means there. Does it mean dealers will be allowed to not run NICS checks if they prefer not to?

- Clarifies that submissions of mental health records into the NICS system are not prohibited by federal privacy laws (HIPAA).

Submissions of mental health records? Since when has it been legal to deny any American their rights without due process? Isn't it required that a person be adjudicated mentally deficient by a court of law to do that? Mental health records are entirely irrelevant except to those court proceedings. This bill sounds like Stalinist purge material.

- Provides a legal process for a veteran to contest his/her placement in NICS when there is no basis for barring the right to own a firearm.

Is that an admission that the Bill of Rights doesn't cover veterans or an admission that it doesn't cover anyone anymore?

Was all of this gun control demagoguery really just a Trojan Horse to sneak this Bill of Rights killer into law?

As I told everyone I could,
“Do not trust Roger Wicker”.
Hell, even old Porker Thad Cochran stayed the course.

And here in Arizona, our wonderful new ‘conservative’ Senator, Jeff Flake has now sold us down the river (with no water) twice. McCain's protege in every way.
I figure he will admit to taking bribes any day now, so he can be just like McCain.

I sent Toomey an email this morning, and I didn’t hold anything back. Since it was composed and sent to him within the confines of the form on his website I don’t have a copy of it, or remember what I said verbatim, but this will be close enough for everyday conversation. It’s a copy of what I told a friend in an email a few minutes ago.

“I sent Toomey an email this morning telling him he’s a political whore who sold out his constituents for the lowlife reason that he wanted to be on the A-List for cocktail parties with the treasonous ‘Rat Party! Did you know that the Manchin-Toomey sellout bill was concocted on Manchin’s yacht “Black Tie” on the Potomac during a cocktail party?

(As I see it, Manchin and some other ‘rats got Toomey a little tipsy, blew some smoke up his butt about what a great legislator he is, and that a monument of him astride a rearing charger will be placed in the capitol rotunda, and then rolled him)!

I also told him that behind his back, the very ‘rats who he THINKS are his friends, are laughing at him for the political slut he’s proved himself to be. I told him that in his willingness to drop his shorts and grab his ankles he reminds me of the gal in the musical “Oklahoma” who wails, “I’m just a girl who cain’t say no,” so he’ll never get my vote again. And that the only difference between him and Arlen Specter is the spelling of their names.”

But, facing reality, one thing these cretans have that makes us constituents powerless is the fact that after just one term they are entitled to a full salary pension when they retire; and full medical, etc., which they might have all their life, and don’t need to wait until retirement. So we can bluster and threaten to never vote for them again, and they flip the bird at us and go on their merry way.

FERS doesn't have a 'full salary' option ~ not for employees, nor for the Senate, nor House.

With 6 years in federal service the Senator can, at most, hope for 6% of his high 3, which is going to be about $10,000 per annum ~

The US federal government does retirement different than the states and municipalities around the country.

Chambliss says he will not run again.....not that one can believe what the POS says. Isakson is going to find out he has dug himself a deep hole.

These are the same RINO’s who gave us Mitt Romney, Juan McCain and Dole as out Presidential candidates.

They have been selling us out for years.

They have destroyed the party.

Right now we do not hav a party, we have a group of traitorous scum following the lead of Juan McCain.

Anyone wonder why he finished almost at the bottom of his class and was an ace for the Viet cong Air force. ? Crashed more planes than jane fonda ever shot down.

The betrayal of the RINO Senators will have less of an impact on whether the law is passed, given that the GOP controlled House can still block it, than on the 2014 mid-term elections. There are quite a few Democrat held, red state Senate seats up for grabs. They can now deflect criticism for their support for this 2nd amendment assault by pointing to “conservative” Republicans who voted for this travesty. You never give political cover to your enemies. Unless you’re the Stupid Party.

liberals look at people shot by nutjobs and conclude if regular people are disarmed and we make more gun-free zones we’ll all be safer.

conservatives look at people shot by nutjobs and conclude if regular people can be armed and armed anywhere a nutjob could be armed, we’d all be safer.

given how ccw laws ave reduced gun crime and there’s never been a state that’s turned into a liberal-warned “wild west”, the conservative position has been proven in 49 states so far.
