They are right.

All they have to do is find something he did wrong in High School and they can easily split the conservatives into three camps.

I predict the same Freepers that didn’t support George W , mccaine and mitt will not support any GOP nominee in the coming National elections.

Seems to me predicting someone will not be President is a pretty high percentage bet.

If you’re so smart Joan, tell us who the next one will be.

I recently wrote that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will never be president, due to his out-of-control anger issues, but candidly, I think that’s my riskiest one yet.

I think that's quite a safe bet actually. Christie's a heart attack or stroke waiting to happen. The man is a walking, ticking time bomb.

Salon’s Joan Walsh gives right-wingers tips on ‘how not to seem racist’

March 26, 2013 by Twitchy Staff

You don’t want to seem like a racist, do you? You’re in luck then, because Salon’s Joan Walsh, author of “What’s the Matter with White People,” has published a handy guide for racist right-wingers who want to hide their true nature. You’re welcome to read the whole thing, but in short, your best bet is to not criticize the first family, especially about their spending habits.

Walsh writes:

The theme of most right-wing stories on Sasha, Malia and Michelle Obama’s vacations and leisure-time activities seems to be that they’re entitled princesses, when they do exactly the same kinds of things other presidents’ families have done throughout history. There’s only one difference I can see.

Oh, Joan. I have consistently demonstrated to all my refugee friends over the years that in the United States the biggest, most intolerant racists and control freaks are leftists, most of them Democrats. There are NO haters like leftist haters. Hey, Joan, the Pew Foundation did a study of Republicans and Democrats. Guess which group was the better informed, better educated, more intelligent, more successful? Republicans.

Via Mediaite:

Salon editor and MSNBC contributor Joan Walsh joined Joy Behar on Current TV tonight to discuss, among other things, Vice President Joe Biden‘s speech at a memorial service yesterday for the MIT police officer killed by the Boston bombing suspects.

As Behar put it, the comment that has “set the teeth on edge in conservative circles” was Biden’s term “knock-off jihadis” to describe the terror suspects. She asked Walsh what about that phrase was getting under Republicans’ skins.

“They really want this to be all about terrorism,” Walsh said, “and all about terrorism that Obama missed. And all about terrorism that he missed because he’s a secret Muslim.” She said that was the wrong narrative and Joe Biden has the “right narrative.”

“There’s an element of Islamic radicalism, we can’t ignore that,” she continued, “but there’s also an element of being idiots, and being products of a certain kind of American alienation, too.” Walsh’s explanation of Biden’s point is unlikely to sway many of his conservative critics, given her suggestion that American culture could have played as big of a role in the suspects’ motivation as Islamic culture did.

Walsh, who grew up in a working class Irish Catholic family, says the white middle class needs to understand that decisions made by the government have helped its rise.

“There is this notion that ‘slackers’ and ‘moochers’ took your taxpayer dollars, which is a somewhat racial notion,” she said. “But some of those so-called ‘slackers’ and ‘moochers’ are white people. ... White people are the majority of people on food stamps.”
