They are right.
All they have to do is find something he did wrong in High School and they can easily split the conservatives into three camps.
I predict the same Freepers that didn’t support George W , mccaine and mitt will not support any GOP nominee in the coming National elections.

(None here can be puzzled by why Jews walked into the cars so quietly- we are walking up the planks.)

I don’t know about that.
Unless you’re saying the GOP will fail to address the problem with the party, and nominate someone just like the losers.
Otherwise you are way, way off base on this one.

Nope, you'd be wrong, but then you are one of the resident moderates on FreeRepublic and really don't like real conservatives as evidenced by your posting history.
First of all, Senator Cruz is an Actual conservative, where Mitt pretended at being a Republican and McCain pretended to be a conservative and the base just won't get excited by people who lie to them about who they are and what they support.
But Mitt and McCain have gone even further by supporting left-wing politices by supporting Amnesty, the Gay Agenda, and Abortion.
Your straw-man won't even stand the weakest of winds.

I'll see that prediction and raise you: A lot of FReepers who did support George W, McQueeg and Mittens (albeit reluctantly) will not support the GOP's nominees in the coming elections.
