Skip to comments.Sen. Sarah Palin? Tea party sees gains from ‘Obamacare’
Posted on 05/03/2013 6:40:36 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet
Prominent tea party members are preparing for big wins in 2014 due to negative fallout from President Obamas signature health care reform.
Now that Democratic Party leaders, along with White House officials, are predicting some glitches in the laws implementation, 2014 elections are shaping in conservatives favor and tea partiers are hoping to capitalize, United Press International reported. The GOP is especially eyeing the Senate as a possible gold mine.
Information has already shown itself to be a series of political time bombs, said Matt Kibbe, the president and chief executive of FreedomWorks, in UPI. The only way you fix policy is through political accountability. Those that ignore those arguments need to pay a price.
Tea Party Patriot national coordinator Jenny Beth Martin agreed the health law is reinvigorating the movement, she told the Hill. Were working to recruit candidates that can talk about this.
One they already have: Sarah Palin.
The Tea Party Leadership Fund just put out a statement of support for former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to consider a run for Senate.
We know that, with Sarah in the Senate, conservatives across America can rest a little easier at night knowing shes at the watch, Todd Cefratti, of the Leadership Fund, said in an email to supporters.....

Well you hit on the one Sarah Palin gambit I will (not) be taking advantage of.
Enough people saw, that our current situation was untenable.
We were sending American jobs to China. Yet making healthcare for Americans ever more expensive.
Something had to give. I would have hoped it was American companies hiring Americans.
So therefore, we have everyone looking for a better idea about healthcare.
Obama won that one. I’m frankly a bit glad he won that one, and wish it would stop being a “let’s fight this battle once again” scheme on the right.
We don’t want to fight that battle again.
Could she beat Begich?
I don’t know why, but I have a feeling that while taking Murkowski’s seat (if that moron was up for reelection) would be easy for Palin, Begich’s seat could prove tough. At one point, Alaskans really disliked her. Has that subsided?
Will there even be a 2014 Election?
I completely disagree with that.
Palin had a historic approval in Alaska.
BEFORE the nomination as VP.
Then after the race, it became polarized. But only after the political slugfest.
Palin was incredibly popular.
IIRC, there was a thread here on it recently. Let that guy who lost when running for Gov go for it. This is below her, IMO.
I think all the time she is spending out of state (e.g. living in Arizona) will be used and work against her.
Not that it stopped Bobby Kennedy nor Hitlery, but they were dems and had a complicit media.
Tea Party Patriot national coordinator Jenny Beth Martin sends me at least one email a day begging for money.
They are constantly setting fund raising goals but never report if the goals are being met.
I'm seriously considering unsubscribing.
I know there are quite a few on FR who don’t like Palin, but I sure wish she were POTUS instead of O.
Look I don’t mean to beat this thread, but let’s be honest.
Palin has not formally supported anyone yet.
So this “group” of “supporters” of Palin is what?
Correct me if I’m wrong. I’d love to find a true Palin group yet, but I don’t think there is such a thing yet?
There are all kinds of Palin groups and blogs around, I’m not saying these people are really one of them, but they’re out there. There are even “Twibes” on Twitter that support her.
My apologies if I hit this thread too heavy.
But then again, nothing wrong with a little serious debate.
If I had a problem with you, you’d know it!
Why are you still posting this stuff? The Tea Party organization pushing the “draft Sarah” admitted that it was just a fundraiser for the group to raise money. Sarah already said what she’s doing in 2014 and that’s focus on getting more conservatives and Tea Party patriots in Congress. Apparently she has a plan on that
I don’t live here 24/7/365, I actually go outside once in awhile. I had no idea until you posted that to me.
IMO, the only office Governor Palin would ever consider running for in the future is POTUS.
And that’s not a given.
Not sure if she will but it would sure set the Liberals pressure switch to critical before they popped vein in their necks. I am confident there are very few if any Republicans, conservatives, Tea Party folks, or C4L people who would stay up at night and have to wonder if Palin made the right move. She would be polarizing as a candidate and she would be effective as a Senator. If she is the strongest dog for the race, then I say we should let her pull the sled for the ticket in 14
I welcome your insight. I was only going off of what I had read. Alaskan politics is probably only outdone in terms of obscurity by Hawaiian politics. Most don’t really know what goes on up there. :)
