Romney criticized for advocating that graduates get married and have families

You just have to shake your head at some liberals who think that having a baby is like catching a disease.

Mitt Romney gave the commencement address at Southern Virginia University, a largely Mormon school, where he told the grads to marry young and have children.

He quoted Psalms 127:

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.

And then urged the young people to find someone and settle down as soon as they can:

Some people could get married but choose to take more time, they say, for themselves. Others plan to wait until they're well into their 30s or 40s before they think about getting married. They're going to miss so much of living, I'm afraid. From the beginning of recorded time the prophet Adam recorded this life secret: "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife." Marriage is a gift from God. Now, some may dismiss the counsel coming from the Bible because it comes from a book which they've discarded. But the Bible is one of two things: either it's the word of God, as I believe, or it's the product of brilliant philosophers and sages who've observed lives and and nations and civilizations and history over thousands and thousands of years. Either way, the Bible is a pearl of wisdom, the distillation of lessons of life. So when it says "marry," listen....

Say what you will, we'd be better off today if he'd won last year. Of course, I could say that about the first 100 people in any random phone book.

He wouldn’t call a daughter’s pregnancy being “punished with a baby.”

The battle is not just ‘conservatives’ against the ‘Left’. it’s the Left against ‘everyone else’.

Maybe a few bumper stickers in the parking lot noting “D.A.D.D.D.-—Dads Against Daughters Dating Democrats “

We were sunk last year, before we ever started.

I voted for Romney, but he wasn’t going to win. My candidate was originally Palin.

Palin dropped out, and killed the race. The thing is Romney was so in, that Palin probably would have been demolished by Romney, and the result would have been the same.

What is IMPORTANT is to make darn sure, we get ahead of things next time and run our strongest bunch of candidates.

Get Rove out of things.

Get strong candidates in. But do it early. We need to run a strong candidate this time.

We need jobs. Not in China, but in America.

We need family. And faith.

We need to break the stranglehold the current bureaucracy has created.

Start early. Fight hard.

Liberals seem only to approve of gay “marriage”, not the real thing.

I don't think that idiot leftist graduates should be reproducing.

We don't need any more of those dumbasses infecting the species gene pool. There is REASON why they are programmed by nature to hate children...they aren't supposed to raise them.

So I agree and also disagree with Romney on this one...

The Communist among us want to destroy the institution of the family. The seductive nature of this destruction describes a strategy that has no limits on its methods. Boys are being taught in the government schools that there is no consequence for sexual gratification. That gratification can come from homosexuality; not the opposite sex which carries the consequence of pregnancy. If sex occurs with the opposite sex, pregnancy can be eliminated through the morning after pill. The purpose of life is sexual gratification without limits: the seduction.

Marriage is treated as an outdated consequence of pregnancy and not the result of a romantic attraction between man an woman. Romance is an outdated culture because it puts sexual gratification secondary to the building of a relationship with a person of the opposite sex. Sexual gratification can now come at the click of a mouse: “Girls waiting to meet Portland men for sex.”

Romance requires ones respect for another when selfishness is the new norm. Marriage is another outdated institution because it limits ones main purpose in life: self centered sexual gratification.

Romney won the primary because he had $millions left from his run in 2008. This left him to focus on the strategy to defeat his opponents. His opponents were in the first phase of raising campaign cash when they got hit with the air war that Romney had months of time to perfect.

Lamont Hill said that Romney was a “religious fanatics” for believing in the family and “telling 21 year old college graduates (sic) to have binders full of kids.”

Professor Lamont Hill prefers to keep his sisters, barefoot, pregnant and on welfare. What is the single mommy birthrate in the Dr. Lamont Hill/African-American Demographic? About 70%? Lamont is a typical a$$whole left-wing Schmuck. He is no better than those plantation enforcers who kept the slaves on the plantation.

Luckily, we have great African-Americans who are trying to liberate African-American women from the clutches of The Big Government Plantation. Meet Dr. Natalie Carrol:

Blacks struggle with 72 percent unwed mothers rate
http://www.nbcnews.com/id/39993685/ns/health-womens_health/t/blacks-struggle-percent-unwed-mothers-rate/#.UYWoXeAawUU

“Seventy-two percent of black babies are born to unmarried mothers today, according to government statistics. This number is inseparable from the work of Carroll, an obstetrician who has dedicated her 40-year career to helping black women.

“The girls don't think they have to get married. I tell them children deserve a mama and a daddy. They really do,” Carroll says from behind the desk of her office, which has cushioned pink-and-green armchairs, bars on the windows, and a wooden “LOVE” carving between two African figurines. Diamonds circle Carroll's ring finger.

As the issue of black unwed parenthood inches into public discourse, Carroll is among the few speaking boldly about it. And as a black woman who has brought thousands of babies into the world, who has sacrificed income to serve Houston's poor, Carroll is among the few whom black women will actually listen to.

“A mama can't give it all. And neither can a daddy, not by themselves,” Carroll says. “Part of the reason is because you can only give that which you have. A mother cannot give all that a man can give. A truly involved father figure offers more fullness to a child's life.”

A little backdrop here:

#1...the grads making up this college are 85% Mormon...So Romney the Mormon was primarily speaking to fellow Mormons.

#2...Mormons are REQUIRED to marry...IF they want ANY chance at all to live forever with Heavenly Father. [Single never-marrieds need not apply]

#3...Mormon theology is that there's "spirit babies" up yonder near Kolobian Heights awaitin' bodies down here; fewer babies down here = fewer "spirit opportunities" for these bambino spirits born to a physical "mom-god" and a physical "dad-god" up there...

Essentially Romney wants these "good" potentially fruitful young Mormons to populate the world with alien Mormons from other planets.

Just sayin'

Agreed - choosing the lesser evil may not be satisfying, but it certainly beats aiding and abetting the inky blackness of the far Left.

Where do you think Moses got the all the records and genealogy from? Are you really insisting that the Lord’s people didn’t write down their histories and genealogies prior to Moses?
