On Monday, conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said former officials in the George W. Bush administration attack Sarah Palin because they favor expanding government.
"Sarah Palin has spoken out effectively, articulately, with great knowledge and confidence," Levin said, "about the destruction of this federal goliath."
He then noted that when Palin speaks out against crony capitalism and the permanent political class, she comes under "personal, vicious, brutal attack," not just by Democrats but by Republicans as well.
He said many of the Republicans who attack Palin worked in the Bush administration and disagree not only with her, but with "you and me" when it comes to perpetrating "statism."
Levin said the Bush administration's record was one of "profligate spending" and a "massive expansion of government."
"In no respect did they reverse course to try and reestablish constitutionalism," Levin said.
The Tea Party, in part, formed against the policies of the Bush administration--like No Child Left Behind, the prescription drug benefit, and TARP. Karl Rove, Peter Wehner, Nicole Wallace, and Sara Taylor Fagen are examples of former Bush administration members who have gone after Palin.....

Mark is spot on. The Republican establishment’s dirty little secret is that they like big government and profligate spending almost as much as Democrats do. Anyone like Palin who speaks out against expansive government is viewed as a threat to the status quo and is visciously attacked.
They’re just jealous, either because they’re not Sarah or because they’re not Todd.

So His Rino Brother Jeb can run for an easy win.....
Palin would “STOMP” his a$$
It’s the Rockefeller Republicans all over again.
Levin also needs to expose his former allies, Hatch and Rubio.
still waiting for her or some prominent conservative(s) to call a convention to organize a third, conservative party. hopefully to meet in the center of the country.
I think the key phrase here is ‘...the permanent political class...’
These folks are thinking “We’ve got to preserve our phoney-baloney jobs! If this woman doesn’t shut up, we might have to work for a living.”
“Theyre just jealous, either because theyre not Sarah or because theyre not Todd.”
Oh, I’m sure the latter. And that’s men on BOTH sides of the aisle...
I never did/could believe the Bush’s were fully dedicated to our Constitution and It’s origin from the day George Sr. proclaimed he was taking the USA into a ‘new word order’. In spite of military service the Bush family has shown a special liking of a world apart from our Constitutional foundation especially as to Latinos.

It’s certainly a sick kind of self-hatred. I’m not sure who is worse when it comes to hating white Americans, the Islamic jihadis or the Bush Crime Family, a truly strange bunch.
The Bush family seems to be joined at the hip to the Rockefellers.
