What always makes me annoyed is how these rich liberals act like they are getting down with the brothers. Years ago, the author Tom Wolfe wrote a book called “Radical Chic and Mau Mauing the Flak catchers.” One of the best chapters in the book was Wolfe’s account of the elaborate cocktail parties in New York City by that city’s elite given in honor of Black Panthers and all sorts of black radicals of the 60s era. Leonard Bernstein was the host of the party. He was known for his “civil rights” activism and armchair activism.
