In the 70's I worked with a fellow who quit a good job as an engineer to become an aid to Detroit mayor Coleman Young. When Young's sludge hauling scandal broke, this guy took the rap for Young, and was jailed for several years. (Detroit sludge hauling graft is still going full steam ahead, with Representative Conyers' wife sitting in jail for it as this is written.) Meanwhile, the Coleman Young rep is still a representative for the current Detroit mayor, Bing.
The point being, if an employee of a mayor is willing to accept years in jail to protect the mayor, just imagine the control a president has over those willing to protect his legacy. Don't be surprised if silence prevails.

Web Hubble?
and on the flip side
Vince Foster?
It is dangerous to be “near” that kind of power (and evil).
Don’t kid yourself (you know better too) but Hillary is as evil as Obozo, a pretty big order.

I still contemplate this type of corruption, and possible solutions.
The Politican rarely goes to jail for his malfeasence. The Politicans can spend obscene amounts of money to get re-elected and they are never accountable.
I hear Levin pointing to term limits, two terms and you are out. That, unfortunately can lead to a machine politics system where new politicians are beholden to the same union/pupetmaster
