Should Sarah Palin Call Out John McCain On Syria? The Tale of Two Rinos (Updated with a New Poll)
A Time For Choosing ^ | September 7, 2012 | Isabel Matos

Posted on 09/07/2013 6:11:18 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

What are we going to do with John McCain who is helping Obama “save-face” by supporting his phony war on Syria? It is clear Americans do not want to get involved. Like Sarah Palin says, “Mr. President, please give America justification before you spend blood and treasure to intervene.”

Sarah Palin and John McCain don’t have much in common, except being on the same ticket in 2008. They don’t agree on much politically, especially Syria. The Governor does what the Senator is supposed to do, but that is as far as it goes.

John McCain’s transgressions seem to be getting worse by the day, almost out of control. It has raised questions in some voters’ minds: Should Sarah Palin call him out? She made an example of Marco Rubio when he was caught lying about Amnesty. John McCain is just as sneaky and deceptive as Rubio, only more seasoned at it. He is not well-liked by most people I know, so it would not be an unpopular move. In fact, almost everyone I know voted for John McCain in 2008 because of Sarah Palin, not him, and resent him for everything else he has done except that.

To say he has been acting very strangely lately, is to put in mildly. John McCain‘s comportment is questionable at best, and even traitorous, but Sarah Palin should not be held responsible for his actions. She owes him nothing. She has more than repaid him generously with support over the last five years, and should not be put in the position to either defend or call him out. It is Senator McCain who owes us answers. He has strayed too far this time, and something should be done. Senator McCain is in a powerful position, not just subjugating our interests to our enemies, but needlessly spending our blood and treasure, like Sarah points out, to do so.

Arizonans need to act. What the South Carolina GOP did to Lindsey Graham could be a start.

Who is John McCain?

If John McCain has ties to Obama and the brotherhood we should know about it. If he has had ties to Syria, we should know about it. What else do we really not know about him? He has covered for Hillary, pushed Gun Control, fought against Tea Party members against a debt ceiling, and for not only Comprehensive Immigration Reform, but pressuring House Representatives to do the same.

Hopefully this clip will raise some eyebrows, help generate questions and motivate us to demand answers from this long-time RINO and controversial

Senator, John McCain. Ketchup anyone?

Please take this poll:

Yes or No? Did You Vote for Sarah Palin and not John McCain in 2008?

Yes, I voted for McCain because of Sarah Palin.

No, I voted for John McCain irrespective of Sarah Palin.

No, I voted for another Republican.

No, I voted for Obama.

I voted for none of the above.

I stayed home and didn't vote.

Somewhere I suspect there is a very big tie to the Arabs.

Unless she’s running against him, I don’t think she should single him out. There’s just no point in it.

I voted for McCain because of Obama and I needed a barf bucket immediately after.

Indulge me in bastardizing another of his quotes.

I didn't leave the republican party, they left me!

The writer erred by saying we need to know if McCain has ties to Syria. More accurate would be rebel fighters in Syria, not Syria. And we already know he has ties to one of the groups and swears they are moderates. He seems to have a vested interest in bringing down Assad, and since the Saudis are backing the rebels we might better ask if McCain is doing Saudi bidding. What about that pipeline issue?

Sarah Palin shouldn’t “call out” someone who has gone daft in the head. Yes, McCain has always had an oddball streak but now he has become certifiable. He is showing himself to be daft, why should Sarah Palin have to say he is.

That would be a stupid demand.

Leave them both be. She shows her colors, he shows his.

My personal opinion is Sarah should specifically state her position on a US Syrian military conflict if asked, or she elects to speak on it.

It is important to avoid media traps set by misquoting others to Palin, and asking for a response.

McCain has helped al Qaeda BEFORE, DURING and
AFTER they beheaded children and women, and took
them slaves, and crucified innocent and raped
everyone they could.

McCain (and Arizona) have taken on karma which will
follow them for all time.

I don’t see why that’s her job. She has clearly stated her own position: Stay out of it, and let Allah sort it out.

Obviously she disagrees with McCain completely on this issue. So, if anyone is paying attention, they already know what she thinks about this.

McCain is insane. There’s not much Sarah can do to fix that. Anyone who doesn’t already know that is delusional.

I had a choice on the GE ballot and voted for Bob Barr. McCain stank from the beginning.

Palin fell into the McCain bucket list in something like 24 hours, starstruck, new baby and all. She was used and abused and then pretty much thanked him for it, helping him get reelected, which imho was no service to our country.

There is nothing she can say of McCain, now, that we don’t already know, and no other audience exists for her, sadly.

As a leading member of the Senate Armed Services Committee during the Obama regime, John McCain has had a front-row seat observing Obama’s failed attempts to save the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars from total defeat.

Even with the full resources of the U.S. military at his command, Obama has proven he cannot win a war in the Middle East, yet John McCain is supporting Obama’s plans to enter yet another Middle East war by sending a few cruise missiles into Syria which are likely to do nothing but kill innocent people and expand the horrors in that devastated country.

When will this madness stop?

Sarah should take off the gloves and start swinging.

Will she gain traction? She might...and what does she have to lose.

I don't think his definition of victory in the Middle East is the same as ours. Iraq and Libya are being torn apart. Afghanistan is being turned back over to the Taliban. Obama probably considers that victory.
