Obama using Obamacare meltdown to raise cash
The Daily Caller ^ | October 23, 2013 | Neil Munro, White House correspondent

President Barack Obama is using the disastrous crash of his Obamacare website to extract cash and volunteer hours from his supporters.

“By now, you’ve probably heard that the website has not worked as smoothly as it was supposed to,” Obama told his supporters in an email sent out late Tuesday.

“That’s why I need your help,” he said, in a video pitch that links to an online fundraiser.

“The other side has already spent a whopping $400 million in anti-Obamacare TV ads,” says the language on the fundraiser site. “We don’t have to beat that, but we need to have the resources to fight back. Make a donation to support OFA today.”

The video illustrates Obama’s eagerness and ability to convert even the most awkward policy setbacks into high-profile political campaigns that can help his progressive coalition. The money may be used to support Obamacare, but it likely will also be used to help Obama wage his next election campaign — the 2014 midterm election.

In the video, Obama also offers his supporters a psychological reward for joining “Team Obamacare.”(continued)

Since I don't watch TV, I have to ask: is there anything to this? Has anyone seen any anti-Obamacare TV ads?

Obama is no fool, but anyone who sends him money is.

Everything about this clown involves soliciting for money.

What is he doing with it all?

Maybe Issa should investigate-—Bwaahahaahahahahahaha
That would end like all of the rest of his investigations.

How much did the GOP have to pay for the anti-Obamacare ad that was the Daily Show on Monday?

No, this isn't humor or satire.

In a sane world, it wouldn't be humor or satire either, because it is so outrageous. It would not be believed for a nanosecond.

Audacity on crack due to extreme, absurd levels of arrogance... yeah, that describes the 0bamanation all right.

It sure does read like a John Semmens piece, nonetheless. Well that's what happens when no matter what anyone can invent as satire, turns out to be real.

He should get the communist of the year award. How anyone backs him after all that has gone on defies logic.

How much of our money paid in taxes has he already used to promote 0bamacare? Why doesn’t he just take some more instead of asking his peeps to put in? They might have to squeeze out the month with just one manicure or concert tickets further back than the 10th row. ?
