GOP's Losers Can Stop Offering Their Valueless Advice
IBD ^ | 2013 Nov 04 | IBD EDITORIALS

Mitt Romney, John McCain and Bob Dole enjoy offering gratuitous advice to the party they each led to presidential defeat. It's time for these three losers to button their lips.

Romney '12, McCain '08, Dole '96 — these campaigns were failures. The voters rejected the men who led them. Romney's and McCain's opponent, moreover, was a leftist community organizer whose extremism should have assured he never got within a mile of the White House. Yet the media attention these three receive would make you think they had wisdom to impart to the party they took down in flames.

More and more every day I am thinking that the TEA party is the only hope we have to rescue ourselves. Cruz and Palin are on to something grand I think.

“Mitt Romney, John McCain and Bob Dole enjoy offering gratuitous advice to the party they each led to presidential defeat. It’s time for these three losers to button their lips.”

Or more importantly for voters to stop listening to anything they say.

Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are the future. Mike Lee does not get enough credit.

Bush I only won on the strength of Reagan; Bush II won both of his races by nail-biters.

So, the GOP has never really won the WH convincingly since 1984.

Mike Lee does not get enough credit.

Probably, but that's rather his own doing. Not that I mean that in a bad way, it's simply that he is consistently the quietest one out there. Cruz is at the forefront and has been sided with by Lee, but our beloved Sarah has been at the front for awhile now despite being continually disparaged by the loony losers.

When you think about it however, only the ones that are viewed as a valid threat are targeted by the liberal lickspittles, not those who they need fear nothing from.

They not only lost, Dole, and Romney lost to seriously vulnerable candidates. Historically, both of those elections should have been landsides, but due to their incompetence, they lost. McCain lost to a candidate with absolutely nothing to show for experience.

Worse than that. At least those three were not mentally unstable like a certain former POW now senator who we should not mention by name apparently now is... (”The McCain Conspiracy” springs to mind).

Hi, Ace! Yes, more and more every day I am hoping for a Palin prez and veep Cruz ticket. Tastes for the lead may vary, but it seems pretty much a given that mrs bill is tossing her ... self into the ring and will run on a Femalepres platform.

W(h)ide, of course.

Sarah needs to denounce McCain and his politics of hating the base. If she does, she can advance. She cannot straddle the fence.

These are three different people.

Dole was from the Country Club Republicans and his time had clearly passed.
McCain was kind of an overgrown frat boy who grew old but didn't seem to get any wiser.
Romney was a successful Mormon businessman, Three strikes and he was out. Many people regretting they didn't choose him.

All in all we probably should include people like these, though probably not as presidential candidates. Rather than pick out all the things we don't like about each other we should agree on the things that unite us and make those our goals and our platform.

I believe the ones that mostly closely fit that description are the likes of Cruz, Lee, Paul, and a number of governors that are doing a great job in their states.

Mitt Romney, John McCain and Bob Dole did not lose. The GOP and the ridiculous in fighting resulted in a failure to win and anyone that the Republicans selected will fail the same way. If this in fighting over minor differences continue we will not take the 2016 the same way. The GOP is a lost cause.

Romney has published his list of the best Pubbie candidates for prez, most are RINOS, especially his favorite, Chris Cristie, a closet RAT. He mentioned Cruz, but not Lee or any other non-establishment Tea Partiers. Romney, Mc Cain and many others in the establishment RINOs are cowards. I will donate zero money to the Pubs until they get the message that their choices are not the people’s choices.

I am looking at it from the other point of view. I would like to keep people such as Romney in our corner so "they" can donate to the republican candidates.

Anyway you look at this, it is a big money battle and while the small donations of the everyday citizen add up large, I would like some of the wealthy people (usually the GOP-e) to kick in with their fat wallets too.
They generally agree with the tea party in most of their goals. More so than with the other side.

Bush II won both of his races by nail-biters.

And the fact that both of his opponents were even bigger losers.
