Cornyn was rated the second most conservative of all incumbent U.S. senators by the nonpartisan National Journal, based on his voting record in the last Congress, which sat during 2011 and 2012. He scored 93.8 percent on the Journals composite conservative scale, which melds ratings on economic, social and foreign policy votes.
Similarly, the anti-tax group Club for Growth has consistently rated Cornyn among the most conservative GOP senators over the years.
The anti-abortion National Right to Life Committee gave Cornyn a rating of 100 percent in the last Congress, and also 100 percent in the current Congress to date.
Also in the current Congress, DeMints Heritage Action for America rates Cornyns voting record as the ninth most conservative among current Republican senators, giving him a rating of 86 percent.

That missing 6.2% was the critical votes where you had to stand strong. It is the hardest votes that mattered. He missed the real fight there.
Who was that Masked Man, wearing a Conservatives Mask, he is a wolf in Sheeps clothing. In his last Campaign Corny did TV adds making him look like the Texas Marlboro Man, riding tall in the saddle. What he really is about is closer to a used car salesman at the end of the quarter trying to make sales quota.
Don’t let him fool you again. He has not advanced the Conservative agenda. He is head of the Gop Senate campaign committee. Where are all the conservatives he has introduced and backed to run. How many Freep stories like Virginia where Ken Cuccinelli wasn’t given the GOP funding and its GOPe dopes like Corny who allocate funds based on their bias against Conservatives and TEA backed GOP candidates. I haven’t heard Corny stick up for Gop Tea candidates, or back them with funding. So we get results like in Virginia in a winnable race.
"Cornyn must go. I will be working hard on the ground to get Cornyn fired. He's my senator, and I want him gone."
Cornyn is just like all the other Establishment do-nothing's in the Senate (and House leadership)- they love to pad their "Conservative" record by voting for red-meat bills that don't stand a chance of passing (or alternatively, voting against Dem-proposed bills once it is apparent that the Dems already have enough votes). But he's never going to take the initiative to attempt to put a halt on the left's increasingly totalitarian, radical agenda.
We need leaders from the great state of Texas.
And don’t forget the RSC asking Cruz not to endorse or un-endorse anybody a few weeks ago.
“Since I was not familiar with Stockman and only generally familiar with Cornyn, I decided to check it out and found the above info, much more at the link.”
So, you posted an article supporting Cornyn. If you really didn’t know much about either, perhaps you should have posted their stands on various issues from both of their websites. Posting a pro Cornyn article only, is disingenuous, promoting Cornyn only and you know it.
Your about page does not list the state you are from.
Actions speak louder than votes. Cornrow is a Liberal Democrat.
Cruz and Rand are real! After Marco had to go stand in the corner, he may turn around and be a better one, I’ll wait and see.
And that makes them different from everybody else in Congress how?
Cornyn could respond that Cruz also tries to pad his own record by voting for bills that don't stand a chance of passing.
With you on that. . .fellow Texan
Why didn’t Cornyn take to the senate floor to support Cruz!? because he’s
A RINO that’s why. These ratings don’t mean that much. I want someone
Who will actively oppose the ongoing destruction of this country and not just when it’s fun and easy. Cornyn must go!!!
Thanks Innovative.

“Ill be curious to see if his rating changes after he votes for Tammy Fayes amnesty bill next year. Just sayin I think hell go along with it. I hope not.
Texas Freepers weigh in.”
Do the names Charlie Crist and Arlen Specter ring a bell?
The conservative rating agencies on Cornyn are very misleading, because both Cornyn and McConnell vote very carefully to fool their constituents and hold on to power. They work behind the scenes to assist the democrats’ agenda. And they use the old trick of voting no on democrat bills that are already going to pass and vote aye on bills they know won’t pass. The two of them are insidious.
Proof: Cornyn as head of the NRSC endorsed and supported Lincoln Chafee, Charlie Crist and Arlen Specter, all three later became democrats. As head of the NRSC he endorsed or supported the more moderate candidate over the more conservative candidate in EVERY SINGLE INSTANCE.
McConnell and Cornyn’s goal is to keep conservatives from getting into the Senate. Both of them must be removed if liberalism is to be thwarted and conservatism advanced.
Cornyn (TX) - 03/04/14 - 83% (Average) - 85% (Heritage) - 82% (CFG) - 88% (ACU) - 75% (FreedomWorks)

factcheck.org is one of Soros sites.
Cornyn also supported Lisa Murkowski, a useless social revolutionary pig, PRE-PRIMARY.
That election confirmed for me that the GOPe are the enemy.
After Marco had to go stand in the corner, he may turn around and be a better one, Ill wait and see.
RUBE-O jumped the shark.Never trust his arse.Never.They own him lock stock and barrel.
So is Steve real or not. If we get rid of Corndog, do we get a Hot Dog or a dog that rolls over for Harry Reid like Corndog does?
“factcheck.org is one of Soros sites.”
Not correct.
“It is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and is funded primarily by the Annenberg Foundation.[4] “
