Given the current nature of Democrat politicians and their wholly owned news media, I don't see a happy ending for America. This was once a wonderful country filled with responsible people, but no more.
Well that is certainly true. I don’t believe we have been 100 percent on any topic in my 8 years on Free Republic. So just enjoy and I am sure that you will be telling me I am “wrong” on some topic or person later on. It is bound to happen at some point.

Only a “GOP-E Republican” could believe the fairy tale Huckster would be a “fine president”.
Huckabee is a progressive and not going to be president for good reason.

This incident points up the fact that Republicans/conservatives have to choose their words and themes with great care. Liberals can say and do any damn thing they want, and will not be called out in the media. Conservatives will be crucified for saying certain things.
Democrats only have to run against Republicans. Republicans have to run against the Democrats and the media.
Even with all his incumbent and media advantages, Obama was only reelected with 51% of the popular vote. A Republican can win the presidency in 2016, and could have done so in 2012. But the candidates have to run flawless campaigns, and/or go around the media as much as possible, to win a presidential election. And, flip some states back to the GOP.
